I think theres a lot of information in the oil capactity because when you change the oil you are supposed to drain the torque converter, is just a plastic piece in the front. I did it just the way you do it(just draining the pan) also there are 2 722.9 versions, prior 2010 and post 2010, post 2010 uses more oil and its different oil (pan is more deep)

Excellent video!!! I am doin this job but I had my conductor plate sent out for cloning... When I get it back will I have to do the adaptations? Also I purchased a Foxwell NT710 scanner for Benz. will this ba able to do the cloning sequence or adaptations / gear learning etc? Also I think but correct me if im wrong... the second load of TF at temp should be pumped in with car running? then fill till it pours out and cap off when it's just a trickle?

it depends on the company that's doing the cloning. If they copy everything, I don't think you'll have to do an adaptation. Yes I think you have to final fill with it warm

The scanner is a Launch X431. Conductor plate is off ebay. I believe I put a screenshot in the video

The eBay seller was able to write the code onto it before they sent it to me. I scanned my car's coding and sent it to them, and they simply copied it in. I probably would have been able to do it myself with the Launch tool that I used to remove Transport mode and do the adaptation, but since they offered it, I just let them do it.

There are eBay hackers who will recode and reflash your Mercedes 722.9 conductor plate and fix any defects wrong with it for under $250. FUCK THE DEALER! Never bought a brand new car and NEVER will despite being multi millionaire. Also never serviced my car by the dealer done all oil fluid and filters myself.

Great video. Unfortunately I doubt car ramps will get my car high enough to fit underneath and my trans is busted car won’t go into gear it’s in my garage. Any idea for how I’ll be able to get underneath? Tried a couple 2 ton car jacks and they weren’t even able to lift a car off the ground (thanks to corporate greed).
