I still have one more peice of plastic to replace and the decal, but at the time of ordering it wasn't instock, and I really wanted to get back to using the splitter. Have a great day Around the Yard Jimbo!

Hey Brent , glad you got the part and got it fixed . Jacks Small Engines is another great place to order from . Please don’t take this bad , but anytime you take your air filter off . Place a very clean rag in the intake . That way no bolts , nuts or trash falls into it . Very nice fix . 👍🏻🇺🇸🪵

Good call on the rag. I have seen that done before & definitely something I should do in the future - Thanks for the tip. I tried Jacks too, their website wasn’t as intuitive for me. But now that I know what I’m looking for next time might be different. That said I might actually try them for the cover plate that PartsTree didn’t have in stock. Great catch on air filter gasket. Looks like you did just as good as a Honda dealer replacing parts. I would say at a lot cheaper of a laborer rate. Congratulations on 1000 subscribers. I will have to watch again to see your subscriber # have a safe weekend and week. I’m off to work.

All in it took about 2 weeks to figure out what exactly I had and get the parts on order, the snag were the extra bolts that weren’t in stock, but i was able to call PartsTree and they removed those and the parts shipped the next day & I got them a couple days later. Install was quick and easy. Have a great day Around the Yard!

Put it inside last night as a matter of fact, we had and awesome lighting show and some small hail. No branches down though, go figure. Guess the trees didn’t have a target to shoot for. Have a great day Around the Yard Jeremiah!

The air box is as much a spark arrestor as it is an intake muffler. One of the most overlooked task for its job.

@@AroundTheYard-MN Try Running it without the air filter some time and see how much louder the engine is. It’s rather loud. When they backfire, the air box contains the flames

On the Wolfe Ridge, I think I’ll pass on running it outside of factory specs.

May not apply at all..but I have my Axis, Case, F350, and dump trailer as well as biz insurance..just under $200 a month. Honda an easy fix but something to consider ?
