Great job on this install. I bought this bumper on August 3rd. and just got it installed about 3 weeks ago. Supply chain issues. I liked the design so much with the cube lights and light bar mounting options I decided not to cancel the order and get something else when there were ongoing delays. Love it! And, I left 4WP Sacramento install it. Too much work for this old man.

The best thing about stumbling across your videos besides the fact that I get to follow along your build and the awesome production quality.. is that the Tacoma I just bought on saturday is also silver, and I hated it at first but you're making me love it because silver seems to pair REALLY nicely with black.. You've helped me figure out what color rims and accessories I'll eventually slap on my truck :o

I really dig the winch bumper system!! Very functional for pushing things, pulling and protection purposes 👍🏽 The weight of some bumpers can require upgrade to a heavy-duty coil like oldman emu springs. I believe you will be fine in regards to the weight. I bought an ARB Steel bumper for my 1stgen tundra, and its essentially 140lbs so I purchased the super duty oldman emu coil springs for better performance. -Great looking tacoma 🏜👍🏽

I too was happy to see this new line from 4WP. I like the look without the wings as I appreciate a more subtle look for my Tacoma. But with this bumper even with the wings it's still low key. Great video thank you!

That looks good. I like the short height of the brush bar...Also, the weld job, at least on the right side (bar to bumper), looks exceptional. FWIW, floor jacks can come in handy for lifting heavy parts n things.

I got the Body Armor HiLine for $530 shipped from Morris 4x4 back in March, the TRD pro skid plate is not a problem and looks awesome with the bumper. The weight was less than 40 lbs.

Thanks for the demonstration. Just stumbled across your channel as I was looking at that bumper on the 4WP sites now that I have a Tacoma. I guess it may be better to decide if I want the wings and install them at the same time since I need to trim/cut the existing bumper anyways. I'm sure you already saw all the various safety tips, so I won't add them here for you to go through again. I'll have to take a look at the rest of your channel for ideas since I'm just getting back into off-roading after a 10 year hiatus.

This may be a good option for me not only because of the reasons you mentioned, but because the bull bar is low enough that it won’t obstruct the tss sensor mount on my trd pro grille. It sits on the lower side.

Great bumper upgrade, I prefer a big brush guard or bull bar myself. That’s good protection in a parking lot though. Also try the wire mesh screen mod since you can remove your bumper so easily, to prevent bugs and also pebbles from damaging your ac condenser.

You definitely sold me on this bumper! Great video and excellent install! Have you ever considered using a Jigsaw with a fine tooth blade for your cuts? I think you should give one a try, it might really help out with the radius cuts. The Southern Style Offroad (SSO) bumper comes with the option of the wings also. I think they've been around for a couple of years now. How come you didn't use your very expensive jack with the massive wheels to help lift and position the bumper? Love your stuff btw!

Nice job. I just installed a 105 lbs rear bumper on our gladiator and I couldn't line up the four build in bolts on the bumper to the holes in the frame. Some things you just have to have help with, or the right tools.

I have been looking at minimalist bumpers like this for a while. Most require cutting but I have seen one that does not. Is there a particular reason you chose this one versus a no-cut option? Is there a better benefit to the ones requiring cutting? Does the part that was cut make any noise with vibration off the metal bumper?

I 100% relate to you about the front plate. I have been searching for a bumper with all of these features plus having a place for the front plate. While everyone tells me "Just take it off," I don't know how they manage to get away with it. I know from experience that I get constantly harassed by the police about the lack of front plate (I have also a '94 300ZX, which my particular specimen never had the holes from the factory so I keep the plate in the windshield). Story time that nobody asked for: Once, when I was about to get a ticket for it, I seen a Camaro approaching in my side mirror with his front plate bracket filled with a confederate flag plate instead, and I totally threw him under the bus. I said, "What about him? That guy actually has a place for his plate." The cop immediately left me to take him down. Anyway, thanks for covering this bumper installation in such detail. It looks both great and well made, and I have made up my mind on buying it.

Nice bumper good addition to your truck. I’ve been looking into bumpers for a while and I think I will go with the ARB summit bumper it is a much more aggressive looking bumper which you’re not a fan of. My reasons for picking this bumper is, i live in the Rocky Mountains in Canada and get a lot of wildlife this bumper would offer my truck a lot more protection the one you put on your truck wouldn’t do much in an animal strike. The other reason for choosing this particular bumper is that it offers more protection with a higher clearance and to my knowledge the ARB bumpers are the only bumpers currently on the market that are engineers to work with all your safety features including your airbags. This is the reason why I think I will be going with the summit bumper from ARB.

Very nice 👍. I really like this because it has such a factory look to it and I really like the factory look of the third gen Tacoma. I did see in some of your 4wd coverage that theirs has one almost identical to this that also wraps around and has a very factory look to it too. Do you know if this one requires cutting? It did look very good and it would be nice to have the wrap around coverage. But I like the one in the middle like you have also. Thank you 👍

My wife had the misfortune of a boo boo that resulted in the front bumper cover being replaced on out TRD OR. I could not cut a perfectly good one knowing what they cost but you did a great job !.

I like the idea of this bumper because with a standard Bull Bar, you have to remove the skid plate AND it's difficult to find one that doesn't interfere with the front dynamic radar cruise control. Plus the level of the built in bull bar. I already have a 20" LED light inside the grill just below the main grill and above the bumper, but being able to add a larger one this bumper makes it better in my opinion.
