By the time the drink gets overstocked in the supermarkets, they've already made their money and then some if a bottle is 10$. Not only that, the stores themselves have to buy it first, so their sales are guaranteed the moment the bottles leave the storage warehouses unless the stores have a deal which states the producer only gets paid when the product itself sells at the store, meaning the store isn't the one who handles most of the risk - and news flash, these days almost no store gets that deal anymore due to online shops. In other words, over stocked stores doesn't mean Paul and his gang of goons didn't get their money. The stores themselves are the ones left hanging since they purchased the stock but can't sell it. So yes, they've made their money and then some by the time the stores are over stocked. The only way they'd ever lose money at this point is if they don't stop production the moment they get no orders from stores or online sales. It's like trying to scream bloody murder when the body's been there for at least a week and the murderers are already chilling half way across the globe.

Not only is it not an adequate hydration drink but it is giving the target market i.e. kids, large doses of caffeine which obviously gives them a buzz and keeps them coming back to buy it. As a nursing student, this video is really well made! Also not so fun fact, too much potassium in the body is fatal, hyperkalemia (too much potassium in the blood) is the most fatal electrolyte imbalance. It literally stops the heart. The chances are getting this are slim, because the body regulates our electrolytes and removes what it doesn’t need, so you can eat lots of food rich in potassium and not get it. Imbalances can stem from organ injury or medication that affect electrolyte balances. It is something I just felt like sharing! 😅 Edit: I don’t know why some people are hostile against this comment! It’s just something I learned while I’m still studying 🥹 Again, just to clarify! I didn’t say drinking this would cause hyperkalemia, your body just removes what it doesn’t need, but if something is wrong and your body can’t excrete it, then obviously it stays in your body.

There’s a actually a study done that shows drinking the same amount of water and gatorade, you will have the same hydration levels. Fruits are really good for hydration especially melons like watermelon and cantaloupe.
@BoAllen260 Жыл бұрын
Also forgot to mention the only reason sports drinks like Gatorade absorb more quickly into your body than water is because it’s full of artificial ingredients which are modified to do that but just give it a quick google, artificial ingredients are directly linked to certain types of cancer, nervous system issues like insomnia, hyperactivity, and irritability, respiratory issues like asthma, and a bunch of other stuff. If your in sports it’s probably not a good idea to drink stuff like this all the time. Do with that what you will don’t take my word for it go look it up.
