Question. Why do you not use the hydraulic press to remove the old bush rather than the hammer & chisel?

Oh the irony ! , the mechanic today said he could not replace my lower arm bushings ! . i will invest in the complete lower arms plus bushings soon.

So all i can find is what they do and how to remove etc how or where does the bushing joint articulate when the arm goes up and down the inner tube on the bolt??

Just some advice I've had clunking noises from car on rough roads took car to garage they say its the suspension bushes they need replacing the quote is £272.10 is this a reasonable cost for that Job ??

@@MT-kx2uc well ive got it back and paperwork says renew d bush assly kit and grease £201.00 reset wheel alighniment £24.99 vat £45.00 not sure what all this means but I feel ripped off however the clunking noise has stopped
