Replacing the A/C Compressor on my Coyote SWAPPED Mach 1 New Edge!

The old, tired 20 year old A/C compressor on my 2004 Competition Orange Mach 1 decided to bite the dust. It served a very long and reliable life. Unfortunately, these compressors are not worth rebuilding, so remanufacturered units are your most economical option. In this video I remove my old compressor and replace it with a remanned unit. Charged it up and it's working great!

I have a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria all completely original the AC system works beautifully and I've never ever added any freon and I know the people that bought the car brand new and it was never repaired or fixed or service, I'm just waiting for any day now to just something to happen to it but I've been lucky !

The older cars they used to mount them right on top right where you can get to them.

The car had no fuel return from the factory ?

Is it the seal on the compressor that's leaking ?

@@user-rk1bf4eh2p Yea, it's the internal compressor seal. Unfortunately they are extremely difficult to replace without the proper tools. So everyone suggests replacing them instead. They say if you even brush your finger across the new seal, it'll ruin it and it'll leak due to your skin oils
