Thanks for posting. Your apparatus for setting the toe is just what I needed to see.

Very helpful. I was interested to see how easy the tie rod separated from the pitman arm.

Great tutorial thank you, I am coming across the same issue with rock auto and the sleeves and tie rod ends. Would you happen to have part numbers ?

Do you know the torque specs for all the bolts. Rod ends, clamp nuts and pitman arm but etc.?

What kind of front axial is that? Notice it as the hub locks

The axle is an AAM 9.25. The hubs are a free spin conversion kit from Dynatrac.

Hello nice tutorial I was going to get alignment but was told I needed balljoints. My truck 06 CCLB diesel 4x4 I ended up installing new hubs, rotors and brake shoes do to everything being rusted on like glue and having to heat and hammer. I see you live in Jersey which I do, one of the rust belt problems. How's your truck holding up if you still have it.

joseph puchel it's holding up pretty well. We wound up putting the t style linkage in a few years later.

I know the scams. I brought it to a friend referred shop to get alignment. I was there when we checked it out. It had a lot of play. The alignment I couldn't do but balljoints I could. I installed them at a different shop. I'm waiting on my update steering components.

You realize your tow changes with articulation? you have the Y style steering, you should have had weight of truck on ground to adjust toe.
@Broncocarl926 жыл бұрын
chavy85 the jack stands are supporting the axle which means the weight is on the ground like it should be.
