I love how even with some knowledge of the Genpei War this game doesn't really make much sense. It's like a game where Bernard-Rene Jourdan gets resurrected as an undead warrior to avenge the monarchy and destroy Napoleon, who's gone mad with demonic power.
The music in the game is very good and I like the visualization . Please explain to me, Kagekiyo is a hero or anti-hero ?

@@CloudStrifeZX The plot of this game is, resurrected phantom "Taira no Kagekiyo" defeats "Minamoto no Yoritomo" who is Daemon legion leader. To subjugate Yoritomo is the order of "Tentei" - supreme god. It is not just vengeance.

This is the true vaperwave music from Japan in 1986.
It figures the only English release of this one is on a PS1 Namco Museum, and it sells for an ungodly amount of money. This really is a good game, but it is quite playable, but tough, typical of Namco games of that era.

Bloodreign1 It's all very Japanese to me. There was a version of this made for the TG-16 and it was called Ghost Warrior.

Very difficult when you fall into pits in this game.

Well, the Japanese version it was for me. My first copy bought had a defect and only Pac-Land and Assault/Assault Plus were playable. Since then I got Namco Museum 5 and a working Namco Museum 4, both Japanese versions. Now I can finally play this on a console, and understand nothing of it, other than it's story.
