WOW! I recently had the option of an Ink or a Camo in a trade, and I took the Camo. I haven't drilled it yet, but after watching this I'm even more psyched to do so.

I bought one of these to try to get out of the left gutter which was where I was winding up with the black widow dark legend and black widow limited edition. I also decided to put a thumb hole in it and try switching to one handed which my body seems to have liked a lot. We play on lanes after two leagues so I was looking for something gentler. I lost a lot of rate going to one-handed probably because I just don't have a good technique and I've been playing mostly on the right side of the lane. I just gave the ball away last night to a friend who really liked the ball after throwing it who is visiting us from Alaska and his ball recently cracked and they tried to repair it. Only thing I've really noticed is that I have to take a nice and easy and slow my ball speed to around 12 to 13 to get it to do the things I want which is leading to some deceleration on the follow through. Then again maybe that's where a lot of my rev rate is getting lost. I think it's crazy how two-handed I'm throwing my ass off to get close to 15 miles an hour and one-handed it's so easy to get 17. Since I only play in casual conditions after at least 10 games of league have been bowled on them I thought I needed a pretty large step down. One handed with it seems like I can benefit from a slightly more aggressive ball but the camera is such a nice shape to look at versus the Black Widow dark legend which feels like I'm aiming more at the gutter and trying to predict how that's going to bounce. My only issue playing really close to the right is there seems to be a very very dry strip that will instigate turn and I have to play that kind of carefully. It's a great ball and I think most people will really enjoy it.

I'm 27 games in now with this thing. Can't agree with you more on every point. It's stronger than my now cracked Ink. I stay pretty much behind, up the back of it at about 17.5 mph, throwing it up the lane between 5-7. It gets going pretty early for me because it is strong for me. Back the speed down a bit hit it a little harder and it will react in the oil. I love it on the burn because for me it's a small move left and or more speed. Medium medium and medium add up to strong for me. Buyer beware, this ball covers more boards than you would expect lol. I've left the 9 pin enough times to prove it lol

For a rev dominate two hander. Would you suggest the hustle camo or the wine?

Either one, the Wine is a little longer and sharper than the Camo but they both hook about the same amount.

I just recently purchased the hustle camo and the hustle wine because of your review. Awesome videos. I haven’t drilled it as yet because I’m not sure how I should lay them out. Currently I use the Burner pearl sanded down to 2000 grit 30x4x60 on my 39’ house shot for leagues and I do excellent on it. I love smooth reactions. Although my house is toasted after 42’ so after game 2 I start leaving comer pins when I’m forced to move too far left. I need that one two punch that will keep me playing right longer and a ball with better entry angle moving left. What do you suggest? Anyone?

I'd say drill at least the Wine a little different, maybe go like 4.5 x 2 (60 x 4.5 x 35 in DA) to be able to get a little deeper with it. The Camo is up to you, it's a jack of all trades ball.

Yeah it's got that same kind of arcing ball roll to it too, this would be a great step down.

Would it be acceptable to have both the Camo and Wine? Or would there be too much overlap? I know you said pick 1 out of the 3 between Hyped Pearl, Wine and Burner Pearl if your average is fairly low, but just wanted to know if that also applies for Camo and Wine.

The hook potentials are somewhat similar but they're different shapes. If you took the shine off the Camo they could work together even better.

@@LukeRosdahl the wine can break hard on me at times but love the ball. Would I have overlap with the camo? Thats what I hear anyways.. But seems to be smoother and a few boards weaker. Which is what I want! Maybe a camo as well with the polish knocked off?

thanks, l was tossing up between this and the electrify solid but that looked to early for me. being a rev dom older lefty love the line you play, havent been able too that much. I just bought a Radical Counter Attack because they are being discontinued and that is one of the best balls ever for a rev dom player, and now as l type going to order a Camo to have both in the bag along with my Brusnwick Prisym Hybrid that l knocked the polish off. This will get me three options to go too from left moving right. thanks Luke for this video.

Yeah the E Solid is pretty similar but the Camo is longer and sharper and just fits for me better, and I think you’ll love it. I’m not sure how it’s so good but it just is. Very versatile and forgiving and you know on the left side that’s kind of hard to come by sometimes

🤣 Dude that's the best description of this color I've ever heard. Nothing wrong with camo colors obviously, but they don't translate to shiny bowling balls that well. It makes them look like wet, slippery, gross things.

How good it is in general, that’s what the comment was about several other people telling me how good it was for them too. Idol Pearl is a stronger cover plus lower RG plus about 20 points higher on the Diff, plus idols don’t really prefer deeper angles, so not really . .

Hey. Love the channel and appreciate the content, thank you. As they're both light/medium control balls, do you see a scenario where the PBR and the Camo can sit in the same arsenal? Or would a PBR and a Wine make more sense?

The PBR is actually quite a bit stronger in reality than the Camo is, it's easily a few feet earlier and a few boards stronger than the Camo so they could absolutely fit in the same arsenal. All 4 of the Hustles currently could because the RAP is also quite a bit stronger than the Wine and even the PBR.

Hey Luke, have you measured/shared your specs as a Lefty? As far as Tilt, Rotation, and Revs? I've been watching your ball motion more closely lately, and your lefty game is much more relatable to me, than your righty game was, and it got me curious. You use a lot of longer pin 4.75, shorter psa (3.5). and bigger pin buffers (3.5). Actually you have Angel listed with the same MB and Pin Buffers as weel (3.5x3.5) and I was just looking into some layouts along the same lines. I've typically done things in the reverse, where I use shorter pin to paps, longer pin to MB, and short pin buffers. (4x5x1.5 or 4x4x2) and was just playing around with the 2.0 VLS system, and it got me wondering what your new specs were on the other side of the lane, for comparing ball motion. Thanks

Yeah I put all our stats in the descriptions under the videos. I’ve been migrating towards like 4” pins especially on symmetrics just to control the midlane better, longer pin stuff is too long and short pin stuff is too early and blah.

Closer to the Hyroad, but the Hyroad is a board or two stronger, a little longer and a little sharper. The Hyroad fits in between the Pearl and Camo in terms of shape, but is the strongest of the 3

Thanks for all of the awesome videos,Luke!I just ordered a Hustle PBR, was that a mistake? Should I have gotten the camo instead? My reasons are because our new level machine cleans the backends so well now and there is a TON of friction on the backend once you pass 42 ft and I thought the PBR may be the answer for me because I’m a high rev player and marginally rev dominant. Basically I’m looking for smooth versatility?

I think you made the right choice. The Camo is great no doubt, but the PBR I think will be better at controlling what you're describing. You'd have to take the Camo down to 2000 anyway, and it's still a little cleaner and sharper than the PBR, so I think you're going to be happy with what you got.

Yeah this one is still a goat. I don't get to use it as much any more because my speed has gone up and it doesn't quite hook enough unless I'm on drier conditions, but this one is still a good one.
