Growing up watching performances by the Supremes, Temptations, Four Tops, Jackson 5, etc. , my mouth fell open when I first saw this dance version. I couldn't believe BTOB had the nerve to do something so different from the industry norm! Just like those groups, who harmonized and ad lib full voice, BTOB dances smoothly so that their vocalization isn't compromised. It was so retro and well-done, just like the new jack swing genre in "Wow." I am really impressed that they don't mimic, but soulfully perform the black music styles that influenced them when they were young. I was so surprised by the songs they spontaneously started singing in their early days, like some obscure Soul song on the radio 20 years before they were born! These men are the real thing when it comes to music, vocals and showmanship. I'm so proud to be a Melody.

I've definitely listened to some of those but I didn't grow up with them. It is pretty awesome to see artists remember their roots regardless of what those roots may be. For these guys, their roots seem to be in that older vein of music like you mentioned. R&B and ballad styles with focus on execution and exquisite vocals. I really hope they stay together Ling enough to get popular in the west but, if they don't, at least they get the recognition they deserve in SK ❤️

Its Okay is their first song that reach first in the music flatform in korea,, this era is where BTOB got the attention of the general public and slowy became famous in korea.. They known to be a healing idols.. and this is the start when they won award as a vocal group and ballad group.

They made the right call. I love their other, non-ballad songs that I've heard (not many but still) but the ballad style is what makes them unique even against today's generation of artists.

Thank you for reacting to BTOB. Just want to say that this It's Okay dance version is also one of my favs. However, I would really recommend watching the MV for this song. The MV showcases various struggles everyones goes through and how they overcame it because even though life throw you challenges, 'It's Okay' everything will work out if you do your best. It is such a healing song and tug at your heartstring :)

If i remember correctly, this was the song that made them be known as The Healing idols, and as you said, this song lifts my soul and gives me goosebumps every time 🥰 and gives me strength whenever i have some problems, I can sing it's ok in Korean 😅 haha I don't even speak the language but it fills me even before I learned what the lyrics meant. You made me tear up when you talked about Ilhoon's lyrics because yes, they were struggling before this song as idols, this song was the turning point for them and it is still the favorite song for some of the members 😢 And you are correct about BTOB throwing in their songs the world Melody 😅, they love their fans and Melody loves BTOB 💙 you may also find the world "blue" in lyrocs as this color represents the fandom as well 💙. I'd suggest for you to react to the MV (1deK has subtitles even to the part they talk on the MV), their acting and the lyrics are perfect to the song to me 😅 Also, BTOB is famous for their voices and rapid rap with their songs, but you may not know that Melody has been taught to sing, rap and assist with harmonies to BTOB songs, in other fandoms known as fanchants 😊 if possible, I'd recommend for you to listen to a live presentation so you can hear BTOB and Melody singing together 🥰 Thanks for your reaction 😊

I actually look up a group/artist's official color if they have one and I use that color in the text of all of my thumbnails. If a group doesn't have a color, I try to use a color scheme that matches their newest comeback. When you mention you can sing this song in Korean even without speaking the language, that's awesome! I love that a song can move someone to the point that they don't really need words to understand feeling. I can sing a couple of Spanish song and/or Japanese songs but I don't speak those languages myself. One of my favorite ballad-related K-pop songs of all time, and it's all thanks to that hook. The vocals (main and background) over the rhythm provide a great throwback ballad sound.

It was definitely a great song. I don't get a chance to hear very many ballads since they end of being b-sides for most groups and unless I buy an album or do a rare full album react, I only usually get to hear/see title tracks. I'm not sure if this was a title track or not but this one was a request so it got to me either way!

This song holds so much importance in BTOB and Melody. BTOB drew attention and admiration for gp THREE YEARS AFTER debut because this is the comeback (first of their ballad trilogy comeback) that highlight their exceptional vocal abilities with meaningful and emotional powerful music with the song lyrics that convey comfort and reassurance during challenging times, the relatable and empathetic message struck a chord with not only fans but also to non fans. From their previous comebacks before this, BTOB were into the dancy upbeat songs and the competition was intense that it hard for them to get it charts. That's why they are called the Healing Idols. It's Okay is a gift and continues to be a blessing from BTOB to Melody and all listeners. The song is quiet reknown in KPOP not only due to the heart-warming lyrics, but also due to its' level of difficulty. The high notes and the harmonization are not a walk in the park. That's why many KPOP singing contest often use this song to test contestants vocal ability.

Thank you so much for reacting to this. This song is really special as it gives comfort and healing to anyone listening and having a hard time. BTOB is known for making songs that can heal and give comfort and hope and courage..their songs often speak of the things that matter, the realities in life and of situations that anyone can relate to. And coz of this, they are known as the healing idols. Yes, this is not the video to showcase their dancing skills but they were really smooth and unique and fit the song well. BTOB is also the only group that's known to put choreo (and rap) to their ballads and they're really good at it. The rap parts speak of different situations & I gez you'd understand better if you watch the official music video which is like a mini movie (another BTOB trademark). LOL it's ok. Everyone here can be my man (or woman) but I appreciate the sub! This song is so good, I love the MV version even more personally. You know, I have certainly thought about that but there's 2 things that stop me. 1. I don't usually know there's no English subs until I pull the video up right before recording and 2. I love MV versions so much because there's a lot to dissect in some of them and they also give me a better picture of the story...especially when the lyrics don't make sense to me. It's a good idea and I appreciate it, I just love the artistry and production of the vids. That being said, there are some songs that only have lyric vids that I may do. I recall doing one for IVE months ago that only had a lyric vid. In those cases, gotta take what I can get lol.
