first of all mages and locks didn't exactly one shot last patch, maybe destro locks could but hardly anyone played destro. Also I play mage and i'm not exactly mad because I "cant one shot" (which can probably be done atm with crystal and the right setup) but i'm mad because mage damage revolves around 1 ability which is an AoE and DRs stuns/other mage cc. Rets are stupidly out of hand atm with the crazy burst/sustain damage and utility with the bops/sacs/freedoms, something needs to be changed because its retarded.

Basically what happened in the WotLK pre patch when most of the ret skills dealt holy damage. We were rocking arena with a double ret team.

@Grimmdul I remember that pre-patch. We were gods for about a day. Mana's a non-issue today for Ret Pallies, but back then we still had to manage our mana, and then the pre-patch made our judgements restore something like a third of our max mana. It was madness!

@@joshuadonnelly1978 I remember the patch too, I was Holy in raids, but had a pretty good ret offset. Shaman buddy of mine saw me log in and dragged me to arena. I was pretty average AT BEST at PVP, but this new divine storm and it doing just holy damage lol we got to 2600 just that day from memory (it was a while ago...). Not overpowered... Just balancing terrible player ability!

P O P culture And maybe for the first time ever, rogue needs a little buff^^" In pvp is still playable even if some classes rekt us easilly, but in pve that's the first time where rogue is only barely in the first tier dps in sub, first half in combat and worst dps (lower quarter) in assa. A rogue without the BiS of the previous content release is barely useless in the new one, and as MoP taught a lot of rogue to forget their skill and play assa, rogues start to have a bad reputation, for the first time for an other reason than the lore =x I'm glad to play sub from vanilla, even in cata and mop, or I would be begging and paying ppl to get into a raid (no joke I saw ppl doing that =x )

John Seeker Rofl no they aren't at all. Still way to much burst damage for the amount of healing they do. But this can stay IF this happens. Their 4 peice needs to be completely gone and changed to gain a holy charge when you get a cast. Freedom cc reduction glyph needs to go too. It promotes such bad play and actually hurts you for counter play.

Have you ever played a DK during Panda expansion? That's when Necrofrost talent was still there. Shadowfrost damage. Godly talent that isn't here anymore. This would be triggered by 1 Howling Blast. Whenever it ticks, it would infect adjacent enemies. Literally just spam Howling Blast in a 40-man bg and easy #1 dps chart.

When I heard they were getting damage buffed and becoming way better for arena I figured level up the rest of my Rey and by far this expansion im loving playing my paladin and priest the most.
