RESCORED Casino Royale

*FYI these are more experimental ideas, and though I like how it sounds, it's not going to work as ideally as the original piece. Hope you all enjoy it though!*
On this episode of RESCORED we imagine what it would be like if we took the music from The World is not Enough and synced it to the parkour chase in Casino Royal.

Love the re-score, there's something nostalgic about James Bond films passing a torch from one generation to the next. We all remember our first Ian Fleming film, I even remember standing in the theater line in 1983 looking around wondering if they really used that word in the title.

I think it is an interesting idea, but I like the original music in this scene better since it uses motifs from the Casino Royale theme, “You Know My Name”. In addition, James Bond isn’t James Bond yet in this part of Casino Royale, so it doesn’t fit to play motifs from the James Bond theme this early in the movie. I think it was the right choice to not play the main theme until the very end of the movie.

Definitely an interesting idea....maybe use a shorter clip, but first show us the music as it appeared in the film? That way we can do an A/B comparison.

Yes, I agree. At least a little flavor of the original score. But this was very good. The stuntmen certainly earned their money.

Great idea. Unfortunately, the brief cut kills the moment. Perhaps you could just make an unnoticeable splice in the footage and interject another comment about the score at that specific moment. Love to see more.
