This reminds me of a bird I used to have and lost... I didn't clip his wings and he was used to me being home, he followed me everywhere.. One day I went out the front door and he followed me and I never saw him again... I cried for a year... He was so beautiful, I tried to find him and almost got him, he was up in a tree and a nice neighbor climbed the tree and got him on his finger but then he flew away and we couldn't find him..😢

Yes people need to be aware of this! Their affection is wonderful, but it's truly terrible to leave them alone all day while we're at work 😔 It's great that she works from home but he would prob still appreciate some bird companionship

My quaker parrot Kazoo has a lot of the same characteristics that Yoshi does. Adorable trilling and laughing (especially when we're watching something we both find funny), will find a way nest in my shirt or fall asleep on my chest, and loves scritches. He doesn't like the bathroom when I'm showering, but he loves it when I get a bowl of warm water and a spray bottle to give him his personal mist bath. For over 20 years he's been the best rescue animal companion / birthday present I've had the pleasure of knowing. Here's to another decade of good life with that adorable little gremlin.
