I fostered five dogs. My last one was a senior dog that had been owner surrendered and was emaciated and extremely depressed. Now she’s a little chunky but she was a foster fail. After five days I knew she could never live in a shelter again. I adopted her two years ago and she is living her best life! I love her so much and I will be the one who is depressed once she’s gone. She’s my luv bug.

I used to work with dogs and treated them as my babies. One day I was walking 2 pugs and this guy said those dogs are ugly and I stopped and said what did you say? He said oh I meant they were so ugly they were cute and I said there is no such think as ugly dogs just ugly people, I meant that in the way they act.

I have adopted a three-legged dog from Romania a couple of years ago. She missed one of her front legs, not the perfect situation, since 70% of the dog's weight is at the front. Her spine gave up after three years, but my gosh, I'm so thankful I could give her 1000 days of love and secureness.

I love this phenomenon with elderly dogs, that when they get adopted, they age in reverse! My parents adopted a 10yo little dog in 2020, and a few months ago she went under a lot of medical tests and the vets asked "Are you really sure she's 14? Cause she acts like 8 at most!" hahahah she's so sweet and full of life! I love elderly dogs so much ❤

Went to rescue organization day, there were dogs offered to adoption, went to the agents and told them "show me the dogs noone wants", after 15 mins a van came with the 3 legs gang, chose one of them, turned out ot be the best dog in the world. Santino is super happy dog now with the best care, super smart no teeth no leg rascal.
