If people don't want to put food waste into the compost bins from the city, there's another answer. Worm compost, made from our own "tiger worms" or "red wigglers" we fin in the lower mainland. There are lots of videos. Best part? One of the world's BEST fertilizer for basically free. Dried leaves, coir, shredded paper, water, worms in a tote with holes in the lid and bottom, and second tote underneath. House plants, gardens, trees, anything that grows can use the "worm castings" from the bins.
