Finally, Left wing leaders follow Yankee model like J.R. Jayewardene. SL has a lot of research institutes. We need to modernize them following at least US model. JR provided great leadership to science and technology research such as Institute of Fundamental Studies, Kandy. Now, NPP will hopefully follow JR''s vision. If NPP attempts to follow communist manifesto, they will fail too. But, governments under Chandrika, Mahinda did very poorly. list of research institute. Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI), Gannoruwa Rice Research and Development Institute (RRDI), Bathalagoda Horticultural Crop Research and Development Institute (HORDI), Gannoruwa Sugarcane Research Institute (SRI), Uda Walawe Tea Research Institute (TRI), Talawakelle Coconut Research Institute (CRI), Lunuwila Rubber Research Institute (RRI), Agalawatte Veterinary Research Institute (VRI), Peradeniya Institute of Fundamental Studies (IFS), Kandy National Science Foundation (NSF), Colombo Industrial Technology Institute (ITI), Colombo Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC), Homagama Medical Research Institute (MRI), Colombo National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS), Kalutara Institute for Research and Development (IRD), Colombo National Engineering Research and Development Centre (NERD), Ekala Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SLSEA), Colombo Marine and Aquatic Sciences National Aquatic Resources Research and Development Agency (NARA), Colombo Arthur C. Clarke Centre for Modern Technologies, Katubedda Gem and Jewellery Research and Training Institute, Ratnapura

If you heard the Honourable Sir, Auditor General Sarath Maayaadunne, you never, never vote to the Sajaba, Pohottuwa, SLFP and UNP at all. As such as former Honourable Sir, Auditor General Gamini Wijesingha also has been expose the traitor robber politicians ugly heads and bad behaviours. But, robber, traitor, slave people neglected the Auditor Generals reports and true explanations due to the brain washed by the traitor politicians. However, luckily now most of the brain wash slaves understand the truth due to the jumping selfish Pohottu parlimentarians. Therefore more and more people are gathering around the Maalimaawa 🧭🧭🧭. Robbers, murderers, traitors must chase away their political ground. We are dieing without proper medicine due to traitor Health Ministers of Kehelya, Ramesh Pathirana, Raajitha, Nimal Siripala, Maithreepala Sirisena. Should we vote to defend, protect, look after these woulves political parties ??? 🇱🇰🖤🖤🧭🧭🖤🖤🇱🇰

Sanjaya and Dasun thank you for your effort. The session was rich in many ways. Even though I"am presently a university student (engaged with my MSc in Finance and Investment) in the UK, as a person interested in the development of my motherland, I would suggest conducting these types of sessions with academics at this level who have an immeasurable value. Well done and good luck with all your future endeavors

කොච්චර වැදගත් සාකච්ඡාවක්ද. මිනිස්සුන්ට දැන්වත් මොලේ පෑදෙනව නම්.. fm 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
This was an excellent discussion. It was insightful to hear the two professors provide practical answers that resonate with the realities in countries like New Zealand, where I am currently based. Sanjaya and Dasun, I greatly admire your presentation skills; both of you demonstrated a high level of professionalism, which is rarely seen in Sri Lanka’s mainstream media nowadays.
All professional must come together and support NPP this time. We can do it together.

The best podcast I am watching after social media started. I am so proud of you for two points 1. we all are Sri Lankans trying to do our best for our country and 2. joining NPP at this critical time in our future for young generations. feel like going back to SL right now because we have a clear strong path. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am agree with Prof. Illeperuma. I think we need to involve private sector and industry to work with research specially working with universities. So that they can invest money on research to improve there process.i am PhD student in Taiwan and here private companies invest lot of money for research projects conduct in universities.
