I've moved to shipping smaller size items to the priority cardboard envelopes, I see people ship jeans in them, but I reserve it for t-shirts and smaller. I appreciate it seems to be recyclable by anyone. I am openly low environmental impact / waste shipping, so I definitely do not ship in plastic. I do not buy poly mailers either. I recently invested in recycled card stock mailers and I love them.

Almost 4k subscribers! Wow! Proud of you Amy! 😊 on more expensive items I put them into a biodegradable mini trash bag. I also tape a little note on it that says it’s recyclable. I get them off Amazon. If I’ve been lowballed I really don’t put as much effort in on wrapping. lol.

Even though you didn't sell a whole lot on PM and Chairish, the sales you had were great! Good thing that lady saw your reduced sale of the lion head fountain. Love the furry bolero jacket is darling! I agree that raising the price works many times and sharing other closets' listings (even for Likers) helps. If someone shares or likes anything in my Closet, I share from their Closets for similarly priced items. The low ball offers have been rampant on PM lately. XO to T-Bird!

Thanks for sharing 🌷 I always use plastic bags as I have received items I purchased on Posh with water damage. One purse I bought was molding dye to water damage. I had a lot of sales ready to ship out a few days ago and a buyer purchased a pair of men’s sweatpants. I was in a hurry to get to the post office as I had a busy schedule so I mailed the sweatpants in a tyvek envelope without plastic. I received a 4 star rating and she specified packaging 😅

Hi Amy 🤗 I enjoy your videos and the helpful information for reselling. I never heard some of the tips you gave today! Thank you!! Concerning the tyvek mailing envelope…I bought a pair of sneakers that have a white platform and at some point in transit the bag got wet and the red ink from the bag bled onto the shoes. That seller did not have the shoes wrapped in anything else to protect them. I wrap items in tissue paper, bubble wrap or a clear plastic bag first. I hope that helps you and your subscribers! Unfortunately I do think it has impacted some people’s sales, but I think it really depends on the type of items we sell. I think we really need to focus on sourcing quality items, and avoid items that saturated in the resale market.

Poshmark has been horrible all year for me. Having record sales with other sites. March 9 if had only 7 sales for the month only 17% of my sales this month 🤪

My sales have been low too. Someone ordered a jacket then messaged me that she needed to cancel her order. She didn't look at the size and it wouldn't work for her friend. I didn't want to cancel it but I didn't want to send the item and get bad feedback. Do you think that affects sales? Do you cancel orders like that? I absolutely love T-Bird.

I’m sorry to hear your sales have been slow too. I personally think that cancellations affect sales. I try not to cancel orders, but I look at each situation individually and decide. We don’t want unhappy customers, but people also need to be responsible for their purchases and reading descriptions.
