Gilded Drake and Time Spiral are very popular cEDH/EDH cards, Gilded Drake is also something I think was played in the sideboard of some decks vs show and tell. cEDH has become much more popular during the lockdown, thus spikes have hit in ABUR dual lands, Gilded Drake, Time Spiral, Vamperic Tutor, Mana Drain, Force of Will as they are very important to the current Meta.

I bought a half doz Rofellos this month. Already had a playset. Bought half doz Tolarian Academy too. Rather than buy reserved list cards that have already spiked (I look at that as a train that has already left the station), I buy RL cards that have not yet shot up. Only time will tell if that was a better idea than just following the norm and buying more LEDs and Cradles.

I actually played invoke the P as a sideboard card in my blue white weenie deck. White gave me creatures, blue I had for draw and controlling the board (even played 2 control magic). And in my blue xerox deck (it played control magic, clones, vesuvian doubleganger, counter and draw stuff, copy artifact, steal artifact, so whatever you had I copied and stole it, hence the name xerox deck, such fun jenk). If you have different colors then your opponent, and he plays a creature heavy deck, invoke the peepee will ruin his day. PROTIP : if you play vesuvian doubleganger and clones in the same deck, always clone the vesuvian, and then copy whatever you want. Having 5-6 vesuvians in play is really fun.

I play Invoke Prejudice in my Urza EDH deck. I find it good in keeping the board clean of creatures. Most people have to ask what it does when it hits the board and then they have a reaction to the art. Whatever though, I'm playing it for the affect. Its only prejudice to non-blue creatures for me.

All it takes is the functional reprint train to kick in at WotC. They print the same cards with different names all the time, eventually that little girl who plays elves may want her friends to not feel like they need to take out a loan to put a Geai’s Cradle in their decks, maybe. I own one and just think it’s absurd that I bought 1 for $60 in 2011. $60 bucks was something I had to adjust my brain to even pull the trigger on, and yeah... I bought it thinking reserved list would keep the price normal. Now if I put that in a deck I’d become the “rich guy” at an LGS and then start finding my cards going missing... life is sad in this weird status quo of $500+ card board with 500% gains in resale value.

It's all the "racist" cards that WOTC banned. I noticed some that I have listed on eBay were getting bought up the next day after the announcement. WOTC advised that more cards may be banned upon review if deemed racist. The only one so far that I saw that I think can be legitimately called racist is Invoke Prejudice from Legends.

wizards announced there will be more bannings of political incorrect cards so my suggestion is to go through your collection and pick out cards that an amped up virtue signaller would take offense to even though you might think these cards are benign but if you really dig into your psyche might find a tiny bit of weirdness in them which could be construed as problematic... just look at the names of cards and put them in a separate binder. thank me later.

Do not buy the old cards that just got banned because of their infamy. They are not on the TCGPlayer or Card Kingdom stores. You can only buy or sell them on eBay. Be aware that if you want to sell them down the line, you may be giving your personal information away to very dangerous people. You don't know who is on the other side of the eBay account.
