Reset Epson Artisan 1400 1410 Waste Ink Counter and Install External Tanks

Every time an Epson printer performs a printhead cleaning, a waste counter is increased in the printer's memory. [15-11] Once the counter reaches 100%, you will see the error: "Ink Waste Pad is Full" or "Service Required, Printer Parts are at the end of service life." All lights will be flashing on your printer, and the printer ceased to function. This video shows you how to reset the counter back to zero and install an external ink tank. After modification, waste ink will no longer be dumped inside the printer. You can enjoy your ciss or ink system in this photo printer.

Hi Kevin, I must thank you for you excellent videos about printer maintenance. After watching your videos about clogged printer nozzle/print head and waste ink pad cleaning, i followed the same process to unclogged and clean my waste ink pad and reset the counter for my Epson L365 Printer.

Hi Kevin and I thanks for the informative info. I have an issue with a Epson 1400 that i had bought new and now trying to get it restarted. I had deleted the files and program and reinstalled with the original driver after the printer restarted it didn't recognize the cartridges . i did a few more cartridge change outs and the power light went out and the two other lights are blinking and the carriage is locked in the off position. Is there a fix for this?
