Thanks Uriah! If I hadn't already known how to change a simplex without existing combo, I would have gotten lost without closeups. We had these and serviced them at NASA.

Yeah this was a last minute video at the end of the day a customer dropped it off. Also we had our backup camera man lol. But I figured if they were looking this up they’d probably have their own set of instructions anyway to read along. Thanks for watching!

I hope that this lock is set up on the inside of the door with a key or turn knob that locks and unlocks the outside knob. If it isn’t, this lock is set up for a covert entry.

Got one of these on our jobs, you think it’s worth giving a try before we go ahead and call out a locksmith? I’m a commercial contractor so I’ve worked on my fair share of door handles/locks but I’m def not even a veggie right locksmith? Great content much appreciated

Thank you 🙏🏻 for the support! If your mechanically inclined and VERY careful when taking it apart you should be able to do it. It used to be a lot harder, but now it’s a little easier. Just make sure you put it back EXACTLY the same way it came off, pay attention to what is facing left, right, up, down, and things like that. Good luck! 🍀

Combination chamber* You don’t have to remove the cover. That’s why the windows are cut into it.
