Very nice hotel. Not a lot of security. Seems like you are on an island away from civilization. No police presence anywhere near the hotel. Called the police there once because a homeless guy inside the hotel stole my wallet from my room, and it took about an hour for the police to arrive from across the river/bay. Had to check in with cash, but they were able to accommodate because they seem to keep a lot of cash behind the counters.
