capcom NEEDS to patch the nemesis fights. I have no clue why the hell the camera is constantly zooming onto jills head whenever nemesis is close, if thats suppose to make the fight challenging then its not, its making the fight unplayable. I can't dodge nemesis and the zombies if I can't SEE my surroundings, this needs to be patched, hardcore mode on this fight freak'n sucks.

I'm relieved to see that I'm not the only one struggling with this fight. I've had about 4 attempts now (taking a break) and I keep dying when he does that temper-tantrum-whipping-around attack. One hit will knock me down but by the time I get back up, I'd get hit instantly and die... -_-

I honestly don't see how lol. They give you flame rounds before and during the fight as well as shotgun and handgun ammo. Get good at dodging and you can save ammo and take his first stage down with all headshots then use the flamethrower for his next 2 phases. They give you enough ammo unless you're just firing away like an idiot

Thank the souls of the Four Immortals, I have defeated him just now. My tactic is simply, use the shotgun for the zombies, pistol for the acid tank lights and when he is on the ground, lay him with every round you got in the grenade launcher.

One thing I noticed is that Nemesis swings and slams his tentacle around (4:34) for some gamers but not others. He does this ALL the time on Standard difficulty. Makes this fight tougher than THE Final boss fight

For those having trouble, it is very much a scripted fight. You have to stun it with a flame round and if you have Mag rounds, just unload a few until it goes into its struggle animation. To kick start the simon-sez section, shock it on the tank and hit it hard with a grenade launcher ammo or some more mag rounds until Carlos pours acid, this signifies that Nemesis is almost down for the count. He will jump to another tank now and when he does this, zap him again and boom, the fight's over. But honestly, a terribly designed boss battle and I thought the second one was annoying as hell with its bullet sponging crap.

It's bloody annoying. I'm playing the game on second run right now. But on Veteran this time. I just can't beat him in the third fight. The zombies will be coming way faster at you while that fat bloke does his round on top. And by the time I've taken 1 or 2 Zombies out, it's too late to aim for the two red switches to punce down Nemesis. I've bin trying to beat him since Monday

Honestly been stuck on this fight for the past hour and ran out of ammo 3 to 4 times. Im playing on hardcore btw. Its my first playthrough of the game and i cant get past it. Im gonna have to restart the ENTIRE game so i have enough ammo. HINT: if your playing through the game for the first time. Save as much ammo for the grenade launcher as humanly possible, cus this basically cant be done on hardcore for the first time.

I figured it out for anyone actually doing the fight on hardcore or above. Basically, your weapon damage means fuck all. Your weapons only use is to get him to run in circles on the top half. Most importantly, DO NOT CRATE YOUR PISTOL. I put mine away because I had so much launcher ammo I was saving for just this fight. You only need like 6 rounds at best.. You need the pistol to shoot the lights of whatever silo he stops at. This is the only way to progress the fight. When he falls down, shoot the little thing under his kneck that's poking out. Rinse and repeat. Kinda lame that my 20+ launcher rounds couldn't kill him and that it's just a shitty scripted fight that's unwinnable unless you play by their rules. But what are you gonna do I guess.

I'll say, the one thing that threw me off was you COULD hit Nemesis down with a flame round/explosive round, and the parasite thing gets exposed and you can unload on it, but this will NOT progress the fight and you cannot win with this. You MUST fire at the red targets and zap him, only then will the fight progress. I probably nailed him like 5-6 times, ran out of ammo killing that stupid worm, until I watched this and realized "oh...the only way to win is to hit the red targets and zap him" Once i did that, the boss fight was easy...

Nemesis is too dangerous, powerful and strong. He can attack with claws. He can smash the ground, he can grab and bite. He can use the super growl attack. He can stab with his tentacle. But I didn’t pay attention to those tanks and when he was running around the wall I thought you had to hit him by shocking those tanks While he was running. Coming from someone who really enjoys hard games (Sekiro, Bloobborne, Dark Souls, RE2R on Hardcore, etc..) this boss fight on hardcore is absolutely stupid and full of BS. Not only does the camera completely ruin your ability to fight him and the spawning zombies, but the clunky controls and the fact that if he hits you once with his swing it stun locks you so that he can hit you 2 more times without being able to dodge ultimately killing you. Screw this boss fight.

God, I CANNOT get pass this stupid boss. I only have two first aid sprays, one from before and the other in the arena, and if I take damage too early in the fight, it'll make things more difficult down the road. In addition, some of Nemisis's attacks are just REALLY difficult to dodge. Mostly that charge and pounce attack, where he runs towards you and jump at you, eating your chest out. You need to time it right and face Jill in the right direction or you'll always get hit. If that wasn't enough, I have little to no time to prepare for times he just jumps in front of tanks and jumps at me, due to me trying to get those zombies real quick with a shotgun blast. Also, it's troublesome for me when Jill tells the monster to "show itself", cause it prevents Carlos from telling us which tank Nemisis is hiding behind. God, I either died or had to restart this boss for HOURS. He's just too hard.

The second and third boss fights are identical other than the third encounter having zombies to deal with as well. Three of the boss fights involve running in a circle to avoid Nemesis, the last one has you running left and right to avoid attacks. It's an average game with below average boss fights.

The fight is poorly scripted. It seems that Nemesis gets damage only on the last stage, after Carlos hit him with something heavy. Until then you just need to shoot 1 round from grenade launcher when he stunned after the fall to make him repeat his running trick.

I built up a stock of ammo throughout the game because in anticipation of this boss because I’d heard it was tough. And on standard difficulty I ONLY just had enough ammo to kill it. Trouble is the inventory too as I couldn’t carry more health items as the different weapons took too much space. I really think they could have done with adding more health/ammo in the arena especially considering they throw zombies in to the fight too. I feel for the people who entered this fight with pretty much no grenade launcher ammo at all because you’d have no chance.

I don't like how unrealistic Jill was into this remake. She can lift a rail gun without massive recoil, she can fall several feet high and drop like nothing happened. Nemesis was overdesigned. BS.
