It's more than that, though. She despises the "man thing." She doesn't want to give him the satisfaction of even acknowledging his existence while she stands by the window, but she'll settle with glaring at him for a moment so he knows he isn't outsmarting her. She sees him, but she's choosing to be passive aggressive about him on the phone instead, even though she could kill him in an instant. It's a power play. The phone call is more important, but she's also toying with him so she can feel superior. Edit: Unless he didn't see her, like I didn't see her in the mirror either. Hence the "trap" she refers to when he gets inside the room. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not to mention the smirk she gave Ethan in the mirror in his direction after answering the phone? She probably knows he was there by the window, but is feigning ignorance (as vampires have enhanced senses of smell & sight in their surroundings). Anyway, I have a feeling we (the players) will have to go into the room after the scene ends to collect the key. Who knows, maybe Alcina will surprise Ethan (us) when he tries to leave afterwards. @@DH-jy9tr Yes, kind of a cross between the 1950's (the hat, 'Sex and the City' flower, princess pouf shoulders, and cigarette holder)and a Regency/Edwardian look( caplet in back, long white dress, empire waist, gloves). Notice the small buttons on the back of the dress which were common back when ladies had maids, and didn't dress themselves, because a woman can't reach back there so they were a sign of wealth and privilege. But I have never seen dresses like that, gathered in the front under the bust. I like it, though, it does emphasize her figure in a good way, and still looks like she can move around and murder.

It makes your breasts really stand out, which sounds great in theory but in practice just looks weird. Bunching the fabric in front is giving your breasts a more practical and tempered shape.

They all hate Miranda on some level and they're not really brainless zombies. This game makes me feel like Ethan seriously underestimates the power of words. Otherwise he could've easily turn 3 of the lords against the witch and the outcome would be totally different. Yep, it's debatable what they would do with Rose afterwards, but I still think it would be a more favorable situation than that mess of an ending we got.

Lady Dimetrescu is aware Ethan's there the whole time. The mirror is angled just right to show Ethan her face. Which means that, from where she's sitting, IT'S SHOWING HER THE WINDOW HE'S PEEKING THROUGH. Watch her reflection as she picks up the phone. Watch close... she pauses a moment as she's putting the phone to her ear, LOOKS RIGHT AT ETHAN, and smirks, before beginning her conversation with Mother Miranda in earnest as if he's not there. That's why she made such a huge show of throwing the vanity. She was showing him she was a LOT stronger than he was, that she was VERY angry, she didn't care if he was important, and she was absolutely going to kill him, slowly if possible. That's also why she was waiting right outside the door when Ethan went to leave. She KNEW he was going to sneak into that room to go after the key she left hanging up. She didn't forget it, she left it as bait!
