Man, I hate it that this has happened to Mike. At 53, I have learned that there’s 2 sides to every story and somewhere in the middle is the truth. In this “Me Too “ society, all it takes is one incident where a female says something that doesn’t go along with the narrative and the world crashes down around the man. I also have been lied on my a particularly vindictive female and spent a night or 2 in jail. She would not show up to court and the case would get tossed. I didn’t really have shit. Mike is the founder of a successful business and that can lead to a female seeing $$$$. Not saying any of this is the truth in his case and I hope that the truth comes out. Prayers for Mike and his family during this time and that the outcome is a positive one.

I've never met him in person but reallly appreciate all his perspectives and advice throughout the last 2 years or so i started watching his stuff. And on to the subject of building resilience i recently started rucking for the last month and a half or so while walking my dogs to me its a really great way to kill two birds with one stone wish i would've thought about doing it sooner.

As a former LEO (and Vet)…I know how a lot of these incidents go. One side is charged and publicly demonized while the other side is always the innocent victim. This is marketing the case by the legal system and media which is usually far from the truth. Therefore, I’ll stand by Mike.

@@vedder10 What I’m saying is that he’s been charged, not found guilty. Therefore, I’ll stand by Mike since he hasn’t been found guilty of any crime. I’ve witnessed first hand how the system can manipulate charges in the media and in grand juries in order to serve a purpose. I’m going to hold off on judging Mike until he has his day in court when all of the facts come out. As far as your comment about military harassment goes…I’ve also seen where females make up false charges against males for personal / emotional reasons. These cases should be handled on their own individual merits.

I'm going to withhold judgement on what happened till the entire investigation is completed. Reading the police report this is a relatively complicated situation, and while I'd like to believe Mike is innocent, his (ex?)girlfriend is the one who sustained a physical injury. Both sides sound like they have something they're hiding or not wanting to say, that's enough for me to have doubts

The one thing I can criticize Mike for, is to NEVER talk to the POLICE without your lawyer present! They do not care about your service or whether you help train them. All of which still constitute DV. Now, I’m not super familiar with Utah state law, but in a LOT of places, if you so much as lay a finger or threaten to lay a finger on a woman, they’ll get your ass. What you smooth brain super fans don’t have the mental faculties to separate is the legal from the moral. Just because Mike may have some something illegal, doesn’t mean he did something “wrong”, and vice versa, just because he did something wrong, doesn’t mean he’ll get convicted. I have people close to me who got absolutely fucked over by the system and a narrative who didn’t deserve the charges and conviction, and I know women who have never gotten justice.
