Whats crazy is i thought I would be louder with the U15s but the Rs Platinums are way louder. I metered a 151.8 with the Sundown Audio U15s but I just metered a 153.9 with the Rs Platinums with same electrical & everything. But I switched because I had a feeling the Platinums would be louder 💯💪🏼🔊🙏🏼

Those Resilient Sounds Platinum series puts those Sundowns and Skar and a lot of other brands out to dry as far as sound/power handling and best of all the price, and if you want to get the cream of the crop, try just one(1) team series and i guarantee you won't look back😂 But yeah those Platinums are going to bring a hella BIG smile on your face for sure and like you said, they can handle just about any kinda power you feed them and they ask for more. Once i got one team series Team 18, i totally forgot about any other brand that exists besides the Orion HCCA series that handles as much power if not more than the RS👍👍👍👍👍 Bass on brotha's👍

And the Vxf can take alot of power.. I run mine at 3,000+ RMS daily with no issues.. I got it on a Taramps Hd3k and it's loud as absolute hell... But yeah man pick up a sundown Zv6 or Zv5 15"s it'll get very loud and windy.. and the Zv6 and Zv5 have a 90+ pound motor.. 600+ ozs... Very large woofers

The platinums have 4 spiders and have a 3in 8 layer flatwound aluminum vc it's the flat wire unlike the u it has the regular round wire the flat wire voice coils tend to take power better I have a team who has 2 platinum 12s with a md8k per platinum they take power really well my platinum takes my crescendo bc4k like nothing

The only way the platinums will play louder than the u sundown is if he is tuned low because the frequency on the platinums are much lower than the sundown u . the sundown was built for more SPL higher frequency range it's all about what kinda bass u looking for it's all about tunning

Hey man, how thy holding up? You still got um? They don’t have black glue on the coils but they still beefy af. Thanks for the side by side comparison. I’m watching this bc I swapped a deck for a gold 15. It sounds so clean for the price, I had to buy another pair. Then I seen the RS gold Version 2. And I hear they are even better. The v2’s do have black glue. However the v2 platinum didn’t get released yet.

Put that Platinum next to the sundown Zv6 lol youll be hella surprised how much larger the Zv6s are than those Platinums 😂. The Zv6 is way way bigger. And the Vxf and u series have smaller motors but the motor size doesnt mean bigger is better actually... There is alot of motor strength in the Vxf and u top plates it's why they perform so well with shallower motors.. but still the Vxf motor is very wide... Triple stack 9" wide motor it's a strong motor alot of companies use the Vxf Design.. it's not really Skars and it's a very mean sub.. if you get directronix Vxf recones you would be extremely surprised by em..

Well i sure hope a 1,000 dollar zv6 is beefier than a 500 dollar Rs platinum. If you wanna compare them price wise= more apples to apples comparision, have a Team Rs 5,000 watts R.m.s. vs a Sundown Z v6 2,500 watts R.m.s, for the same $

Yeah and zv6 is another level...the platinum isn't even the top sub. You have Onyx and Team. Onyx is rated 2500rms conservative. I use to have a pair of RS10's a long time ago before knowing the brand and was shocked at how hard they hit for entry level woofers in the $100 price range. Resilient Sounds are just awesome woofers.

Bro the Platinum subs are the best subs I've ever had! I started with a Kicker 15s, Alpine 15s, Power Acoustik Bamf 15s, to Skar VXF 15s to Sundown Audio U 15s & now RS Platinum & they are by far the best subs I've had! Loud on the meter for Competitions & also very musical!!! & thanks for subscribing I appreciate you

Sundown puts hella glue over there coils to keep ‘em in place so they can take the heat!

They're also better at heat dissipation from the coil from the ventilation of the frame. It might not look like it, but it was designed that way.
