Join me for a resistance band pilates workout that uses the band to create Pilates reformer exercises for a strong, flexible body. This 40 minute full body workout will give you the feel and challenge of a reformer workout whilst working at home on your mat. All you need is a resistance band. I've created this workout for those that like a challenge and are interested to see how pilates reformer work differs from pilates matwork, you'll also see how it is the same too. If you know the matwork well, you'll really benefit from having that experience when you do this workout but don't worry, I am here to guide you all the way. The session will tone, strengthen and challenge you physically as well as give you a wonderful release from day to day worrries and pressures as you take time out to focus on yourself.
I recommend a 2 metre light resistance band for maximum use and variety, this is the one I am using: amzn.to/49Fy8Zu Please note this is an affiliate link so I may earn a tiny commission if you purchase. That said I have found these to be the best bands I have used to date. If it doesn't deliver to your country then look for a Light 2 metre Resistance band as that will be the same s I am using.

Hello Rachael I missed yesterday's session but just finished doing it, today. Quite an energetic session and great stretches. I have to get a loose band and won't have the pressure, to bring back my hand way back. I love it and will do it again. Have a restful week-end. Love you all.❤

Great class Rachel. Forty minutes flew by!! The laying on tummy/arms with resistance was hard. I had to forgo the band after a couple of reps. I still can’t bring myself up 100% with band around the foot. Going down no problem. My chiro said I have a weak thoracic spine. So I get half way up and use momentum to come up. I do feel lovely and stretched out to start my day. June K from 🇨🇦 🥰🥰

Great class Rachel. I set my alarm for 4:50 , but i turned it off. Having trouble sleeping lately, so I didn't make the LIVE , I love how I can feel my arms are working to build strength. Have a Lovely weekend. See you Monday.

Love the resistance bands. I feel so much better. I have been struggling with sciatica in my back and down my legs and this definitely made me feel so much . Thank you, Rachel.😂

Interesting! Not a favorite simply because of ataxia on right side, I struggle with all the fiddly adjustments of the band, never quite sure I’ve got it right, trying to watch and emulate you at the same time🥴🥴 but I can see this is effective and inventive! I don’t think the Reformer machine and I would get along, as I struggle with “complex” moves these days - maybe pre-brain surgeries, but not now!😅 Thank you for always keeping us motivated and moving!😊❤

When we do the spine twist, are supposed to have the waistband area flat against the floor or in more neutral position?
