My mother (who has emphysema and PAH) is on daily dose of 600 mg effervescent acetylcysteine. The scar on her left lung, I'd been told, will be a constant source of infection. As a pro-active measure, she's prescribed acetylcysteine. The dosage can be increased to 1200 or 1800 mg a day depending on the circumstances at hand. Thankfully, it has just been the usual dosage of 600 mg in a half a glass of water daily. Anyway, thank you, as always for your edifying videos. Blessings of good health to all.
