My mom is Black and my dad is Puerto Rican, so in my family, we come in all different shades with various hair textures. I'm dark-skinned, and 2 of my siblings are as well, while the other 3 are lighter-toned. Growing up, people would often question how my lighter-toned siblings were related to me because I was so much darker and I was teased about that. I don’t experience colorism anymore, but sadly, it's still very much present today.

2nd- let's go back in time, black women put it in black men's head that fair skin women are better. When i had numerous of conversations with light skinned about dark or brown skinned women women they always said, 1- black women say," oh you think you all that". 2- " imma cut your pretty face up", 3- they threw bubble gum in my hair to force me to cut it out", 4- " oh you got that good hair". Black women did this in front of black men so that made black men start to see fair skinned women as better. And as far as hair who can black women sell their hair to?🤔 because mostly dark/ brown skinned women are still buying up foreign hair. Ooops
