This is the only song in my 59 years of existence that has made me cry the very first time I have heard it. The only one! Thanks for sharing.

You have entered the realm of epic music, both in country and pop/rock from my generation. I would urge to always go for a video performance, in my day if you couldn’t perform on stage you didn’t reach this status. Nicely done, I’m with you on this journey. In this particular case, he started the song on the loss of a friend, Keith Whitley! Hence some of the lyrics. He finished it on the passing of his brother. The song is now used by many when loved ones pass, my mother in my case. Continue with Vince Gill, many masterful hits, I also adore Brooks and Dunn with Believe if you like this style of song. Thanks again.

This was a bit of a cool performance. The official video has tighter more searing harmonies because they were sung with two other blue grass titans. The Carnegie Hall video was sung with a different coupling of blue grass titans. These two performances were full of emotion in a way I don't know how to express. Your version today was very good, but not on fire. Please take a look at many versions of this song, it will bring clicks, and you might also enjoy this approach.

I don't think I've seen Tom MacDonald here yet. Would you let your first be " No Lives Matter" He is an Independent Artist, never blocks, millions of views and loyal fans, me included. The above video waz my first Tom video. He tells nothing but facts, one great line after another.
