I have cooked on all of that same exact equipment that Gordon gave the kitchen. He's not lying. That Vulcan range cost us $19,000.00 because it is the best. The Blodgett convection oven cost us over $25,000.00 because it's the best. We served 300 people a day for 11 years on that same range. Adjusted for inflation, the kitchen he gave them would cost $90,000 to $105,000. We put that range through hell and back but it just kept going. We had it serviced every 6 months, and that fucking thing never let us down. That oven cut our cooking time in half. I could roast potatoes in 15 minutes, baked potatoes in 35 minutes, full prime rib boneless in half the time. When you cook food so quickly in the oven, it loses much less moisture, preventing dried out meats, and caramelizes in ways that no other oven does. This is why I love Gordon. No bullshit from this man, and that's a rare quality for celebrities.

The business model of kitchen nightmares was absolute gold it has to be said - ‘You guys have proven that you can’t run a business, know nothing about food or food hygiene and don’t give a flying fuck But I’ve got a surprise for you.. I’ve spent tens of thousands making this place look nice and brand new so you go ahead and get to ruining it all over again’ 😂 Ramsay said himself in an interview the reason nightmares ended was because the owners were incapable of making any of it work once he left, and most of them took the opportunity to sell quick for a cheeky profit following the renovations.

Levanti's in Beaver, Pennsylvania is closed: Closure: Levanti's closed in November 2013, about nine months after appearing on Kitchen Nightmares. New owner: Rich Montini, the executive chef at PNC Park, bought the restaurant. New restaurant: Montini plans to open a new restaurant called Heirloom at the site. The show's storyline blamed the restaurant's problems on sibling rivalry between Tina and Dino. Tina said that Ramsay helped and hurt Levanti's, but that the restaurant needed an uplift.

I feel like in the conversation with Dino and Tina with Gordon when he fist came into the restaurant, Tina was being a real brat. But then another article pointed out that according to other successful restaurateurs, despite the conditions at the time (recession), it was practically a miracle that a number of those restaurants survived and even found success.
