CHICKEN CRISPY
Preparation time 10 minutes
Cooking time 25-30 minutes
Serve 2-4
Ingredients
For Marination
900 gm Chicken breast (cut into thin strips) चिकन
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
1 tsp Vinegar, सिरका
½ tsp White pepper powder, सफेद मिर्च का पाउडर
2 no. Whole eggs, अंडे
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट
½ cup Cornstarch, कॉर्नस्टार्च
½ cup Refined flour, मैदा
1 cup Cornstarch, कॉर्नस्टार्च
2 no. Whole egg, अंडे
½ tsp Baking powder, बेकिंग पाउडर
1 tsp Oil, तेल
For Red Chilli Paste
10-12 no. dry Kashmiri red chillies, soaked, कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च
4-5 no. Garlic cloves, लहसुन
¼ inch Ginger (peeled & sliced) अदरक
For Chinese Style Crispy Chicken
1 tbsp Oil, तेल
1 inch Ginger (peeled & finely chopped) अदरक
4 no. Garlic cloves, chopped, लहसुन
½ tbsp Tender Coriander stem, finely chopped, धनिये के डंठल
Fried Chicken strips, तले हुए चिकन स्ट्रिप्स
½ tsp White sesame seeds, सफेद तिल
¼ tsp Black pepper powder, काली मिर्च का पाउडर
½ tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped, धनिया पत्ता
¼ cup Spring onion, finely chopped, हरी प्याज
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
For Restaurant Style Crispy Chicken
1 tbsp Oil, तेल
½ inch Ginger (peeled & finely chopped) अदरक
2 no. Garlic cloves, chopped, लहसुन
1 tsp Tender Coriander stem, finely chopped, धनिये के डंठल
1 ½ heaped tbsp Prepared paste, तैयार किया हुआ पेस्ट
1 ½ tsp Vinegar, सिरका
½ tsp Dark soy sauce, सोया सॉस
1 tsp Tomato ketchup (optional) टमाटर केचप
Fried Chicken strips, तले हुए चिकन स्ट्रिप्स
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
2 tbsp Spring onion, finely chopped, हरी प्याज
For Garnish
Spring onion, finely chopped, हरी प्याज
Coriander sprig, धनिया पत्ता
Other Ingredients
Oil for frying, तलने के लिए तेल
Process
For Marination
● In a bowl, add salt to taste, vinegar, white pepper powder, whole eggs, ginger garlic paste, chicken breast and give a good mix. Keep it aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
● Add cornstarch, refined flour, cornstarch, whole eggs, baking powder, oil and mix it well.
For Frying
● In a non-stick kadai, add oil, once it's hot, add marinated chicken strips, fry them until crispy and golden brown on medium flames.
● Transfer it to an absorbent paper and keep it aside for further use.
For Red Chili Paste
● In a mixer grinder jar, add soaked dry red chillies, garlic, ginger and grind it into a smooth paste.
● Keep it aside for further use.
For Chinese Style Crispy Chicken
● In a wok, add oil, once it's hot, add ginger, garlic, tender coriander stems and saute it for a minute.
● Add fried chicken strips, white sesame seeds, black pepper powder, fresh coriander leaves, spring onion, salt to taste and give it a good toss.
● Transfer it to a serving dish, garnish it with spring onion and coriander sprig.
● Serve hot.
For Restaurant Style Crispy Chicken
● In the same wok, add oil, once it's hot, add ginger, garlic, tender coriander stems and saute it for a minute.
● Add prepared paste and saute it for 2-3 minutes until cooked well.
● Add vinegar, dark soy sauce, tomato ketchup, fried chicken strips and give it a good toss.
● Finish with salt to taste, spring onion and toss it well.
● Transfer it to a serving dish, garnish it with spring onion and coriander sprig.
● Serve hot.
