My father was an engineer in multiple fields, he was also the president of the Plumbers & Steamfitters union, which also housed refrigeration training. He was friends with many restaurant owners, so if problems arose at their businesses, they would call my dad so he could have hands on training for apprentices. I grew up in the 70's, before health codes became a thing. Out of ALL the restaurants in our city, there was only 2 my Dad would allow my mom to take us to eat, because of the uncleanliness and lack of standards. My dad also stopped associating with several of those owners as well, I didn't understand that principle until I was older...in a business or at home, how you leave where food is consumed or handled is very important. It actually says alot about a person who lacks that kind of integrity!

While he was cleaning he was also serving. He also threw out some much junk. Then he went to tell the owner. Only to find out, the owner didn't care. When my son left that place, he feared that it went right back to what it was.

They'll look at cooked chicken right next to raw chicken and insist there was nothing wrong.

@eldrichnemo93129 ай бұрын
We don't know for sure if there was or not. But in general when people eat out and get food poisoning afterwards they don't always blame the restaurant. They'll think 'oh, it was a heavy meal' or 'I always react this way to X food but it's worth it.' Or the reaction isn't immediate so they don't associate the food and the illness. So it goes unreported.
