7:35 you went too deep into the teeth and you reduced the contact surface of the teeth, so now they will wear down even faster because there will be increased pressure that will deform the teeth

All the removal from the crank will make the teeth weaker and now they'll wear out at a much greater rate than intended, this in turn will have negative impact on the chain which in turn has negative impact on the cassette. When any component in the drive train is worn especially like on this bike, just replace it.

Thank you for your comment, we told the bike owner the same thing. Unfortunately, such a crank ring can only be bought abroad and there is a long wait for delivery, so it was decided to ride the old ring

Why schould this not be okay? In case of saving some money for the customer it‘s by far more than okay! This part is not like new, but in order to get some more livetime this is suitable!

​@@MichaelRoloff-yr7iq because this is not restoring. Restoring means that you make something like new. If you cut away material from chain ring, you make it worse. There is specific distance between teeths on chain ring, so if you have worn teeths you must replace it. New one is around 15€ so no need to save money on chain ring

We offered the bike owner to order a new sprocket, but it was expensive, and the delivery would cost 26 euros and 2-3 weeks of waiting, so he refused and decided to take his chances with the old one. Luckily, it was not too worn out yet, so everything worked out
