Will it surprise you to learn that I have a couple of Makita saws made in Whitby, Ontario, Canada? Models 5007NB and 5008NBA were made in the 1980s or 90s. I don't know if Makita made any drills here. 🤔

MAKITA Made in Canada? Cool! I was not aware that Makita used to have a factory there.

@@mas.herramientas I expect it was the last tool factory built in Canada before we flushed our manufacturing sector down the toilet called 'free trade'.
