May I ask what was the point of sawing off the handle only to immediately use the punch to remove it? Couldn't you have just used the punch to remove the whole thing?
@Vanos992 ай бұрын
haha I was think same. but it gone
@aqacefan2 ай бұрын
My guess would be because it required less force to remove the smaller piece, due to reduced mass.

Beautiful! I like the wood you used for the handle, what type of wood is that? The Durian tree was cool, how do you know when they ripe enough to pick?
@CT-restoration3 ай бұрын
That is mother of pearl wood. That is the jackfruit tree. we will know when it has a very special fragrance

I was with you the entire way except for the red paint. After all the work you put in to clean that up, painting it hurt my soul.

Thank you for following. I really hope you like red as much as I do

In our country, the tree is called chlebovník or durian i don't know which one it is now... Anyway, it doesn't grow here in Czech Republic. 🙂 Nice video and great work !

Thank you very much. That fruit is quite similar to durian. When ripe, it is very fragrant and has a very sweet taste
@JindrichP.2 ай бұрын
@@CT-restoration I looked at it and there are several species of these trees, they are all similar and all are in the same genus, but each is called differently. I've never eaten it before, so... I also came across something called Jackfruit.

Painting the axe red took away the nice old look it had and turned it into a supermarket axe.
