In this meditation, Lynn invites us to notice the sensations of our bodies and allow them to be a notification system alerting us to take notice of any thoughts appearing of past memories or thoughts appearing of an unknown fearful future. It is an opportunity to have a direct experience of being the one who notices the body sensations and thought patterns. She explains the reason we want to become attuned to this way of being [the witness] is so that we can notice when we give our attention and belief in false thoughts and stories, we become agitated, uncomfortable, restricted, fearful and stressed. She highlights that it is a subtle redirection of attention to knowing through direct experience that we are not the thoughts, stories, nor body sensations; we are the one witnessing all of it; we are the awareness in which life energy flows. When we practice being the witness of all comings and goings, we restore the natural flow of life energy, no longer diverting and exhausting it on needless mental activity.
We can feel, sense and know the natural flow of life... unencumbered, peaceful, content, whole and complete. This is an invitation to experience yourself and life in a new way.
