This was amazing! When Tim mentioned doing back bridges it felt like something ancient awakened in me. I use to move very well as a kid and loved how I felt in my body. I loved movement. Then trauma happened and I became sedentary and isolated on a computer for many years. I believe you guys are saying with the right mindset I can have that joy of movement again. Very inspiring! Thank you guys.

Amazing interview! Thanks, Tim. Been listening to your stuff for a while, but I had no idea your discovery story was Christ centered! Amazing. May God bless you and may He continue to work through you to help people heal and thrive.

Tim is 45. With patience and belief, why not? I've been getting more flexible / mobile with age, still have many years to go to restore the mobility I had as a kid!

I'm 48 and yes, you can do it. A few years ago I had a hard time just squatting to scoop cat litter and my body was a mess with a lifetime of injuries (concussions, spine, hip, knee) that I had been carrying for years. With consistent effort now I can hang out at the bottom of a Bongo board squat. I haven't been able to squat ATG since I was about 21, until the last couple of years. Tim didn't mention that our body does something called "neuro pruning;" if you stop certain movement patterns, your body tells you, "well, I don't need that" and as a means of protecting yourself, your CNS restricts you or unable to that select movement over time as a means of preventing injury. The less movement you do, the less you are able to do.....but you can regain it. The Original Strength system can help you regain your mobility. Tim's book Pressing Reset Original Strength Reloaded shows you how to get going and program it into a routine or pair it with a strength program if you already have one. The key with all of this is consistency and not intensity. It doesn't take up a lot of time at all. You are playing around and exploring more than anything. There are regressions and progressions to everything. Just start with where you are at and you will see things improve if you apply yourself.
