Hey George! I just got my 1st tractor/backhoe. It’s a car 530ck!! Got any videos on repacking a cylinder? It seems pretty easy but I’ve never done anything like it. Thanks

I will have a video coming out in the next couple of weeks. I had to re-pack 14 cylinders and had to learn the hard way. I will definitely give you some good pointers.

I tried tagging you in the hydraulic seals video I just posted. This one may help too. kzbin.info/www/bejne/opCkhGtrftqgaMk

Great vid, I am servicing my 530 ck right now. Do u happen to know the part number for the hydraulic fluid filter?

Thank you! Napa 1517 should do it for the hydraulic fluid reservoir. This website is a great resource I found: home.microtech.com/mikef/530CK/manuals.php

I have a 63 case CK backhoe... It's very tired and smokes a lot... Do you know what is the best way to get the engine out to rebuild??? Also, I've been told the old tractor isn't worth rebuilding.. But by the time i spend money on another tractor that I won't know the history on, maybe I'm money ahead fixing what i have... What do you think??? I like your channel...

Thank you for the kind words. I, luckily, have not had to rebuild the motor….yet. I do know that these motors are not that bad to work on and rebuild kits for these cases are usually available. I don’t believe you have to remove the motor at all to rebuild as you may a car. As far as being worth it, that is entirely up to you. My tractor is getting a restoration and I have been using it along the way and found it to be an invaluable tool. If it broke down I would fix it (within reason). It has the capability to do incredible things and I love learning how to fix things and become more capable of repairs. If you have the time, the tools, the money for parts, and the desire to learn to fix it, get after it. I wish you all the luck.
