Bei 40:19 sieht man,daß der Bowdenzug vom Gashebel falsch verlegt ist.Die Öse rechts am Holm ist dafür gedacht,den Griff vom Starterseil einzuhängen,damit man sich beim Anlassen nicht bücken muss! Wenn man den Gaszug da durchführt wird er beim zusammenlegen des Holms meistens geknickt.Sieht man leider auch oft,bei Rasenmähern,die im Baumarkt in der Ausstellung stehen ...Aufbauanleitung lesen hilft 🤣🤣

My only critique is the choice of paint colors. Real "restorations" try and match the factory colors. They also don't paint parts that are not painted from the factory. Where I live in the states this would be a called a hillbilly deluxe restoration. And you wouldn't pay more than $150 for.

Makita have only been "making" lawnmowers for less than 10 years, and this one has plastic rims with fake hub caps. Its brand new made to look old. The colour is the least of the issues here!

Something i think is fake or made on purpose is the rust on the body. Ive worked using equipment like this for years and do small engine repair. Ive never seen the outer body more rusty than under the deck. Its just impossible

I agree with you that This is definitely fake but not about the rust. Sure if you use the mower often you’re correct, but if it sat outside for years the outside could definitely suffer more abuse

@@Thesecondguydidit trust me ive literally had mowers that habe been buried in wet mud and they dont look that bad. Hes purposely put salt water over it. Nothing else would corrode like that. The rust is a very light colour. Normally rust from normal water is darker.

Good idea to simply replace the carb as cleaning it is pain, and it is usually rebuilt anyway.
