A good craftsman always looks at other good works and can’t help but want them because they know the effort and value of good craftsmanship. Can’t blame ya Tim, those are certainly very cool and well made axes.

I totally get the emotion. I get the same feeling when restoring old tools. Even those tools may be some random piece of junk I found in a rust pile

I've seen a lot of these brands of axes go for little to nothing at yard and estate sales... I suppose it's time to start buying them up.

It pains me to see you cut off those vintage handles. Tim I have a Lotta respect for you and I fully support you restoring axes, but you couldn’t pay me to cut a vintage handle like that. Thanks for your contact, it’s really good, always look forward to your videos.

Do try driving a screw into the wedge (wooden and even aluminum) and pry it out with a carpenter's hammer or a crowbar first. Will save you shitloads of work with drilling and banging the remains out of the eye.

Hey Tim, Love your videos. Subscriber and seasoned vet on your channel. This is in no way a dig and i'm not sure if anyone has made this comparison before.... but.... you laugh like Jimmy Carr. If you don't know who Jimmy Carr is then i recommend looking him up... and his laugh. hopefully this comparison will then make you laugh :-) All the very best mate

Price gouging again geez man people have to be dumb to pay this when they can get it from eBay for 45 bucks and get a handle for 30 or 40 and put some time in it just crazy to me

Yes, I stand corrected. You said you brought the scale. You did NOT say you bought a scale.
@primoed773 жыл бұрын
Will you just buy another scale. It's like a thorn in your side that you refuse to simply pull out! Just do it already! Better yet, forge a triple beam with all the weights. BOOM! A whole series.

@@TimothyDyck Keep at it brother, one day perhaps should I be so blessed to be able to purchase an axe of your craft, I know you're definitely the only blacksmith I am going to for that beautiful hand forged dedication and work you put into all your creations. Love your work, appreciate you brother, the content is very therapeutic to me as I am healing from loss and sorrow atm in my personal life and not currently in a job due to physical surgeries, broken arms etc. Very grateful I stumbled upon your channel via stumbling across Buckin's vid when he came to make the Buckin Bullet (I reckon he should totally call it that, so agree with ya there haha). Much love and blessings of safety and protection and prosperity to you and your young family brother, as a dad to another dad. Protect them at all costs for this world is evil brother. YAH Most High be with you all always and guide you safely home through our Messiah Yahushua (his ancient Hebraic name, transliterated as Jesus the Christ)
