That's about the size of it. I have a 65' 4K 3D TV that I bought a few years back and spent some serious cash on an incredible home theater system (well, incredible for me anyway), and the only thing I watch on a regular basis is either FOX or my local news. I'll watch the Weather Channel, History, Smithsonian, or one of the movie channels, but that's really the extent of my TV watching. I'm giving serious thought to taking my computer from my office to the living room so I don't feel so bad about spending all that money on something I never use, lol. I'll just use the TV as a monitor. I already have a wireless mouse and keyboard, so why not.

Pulled wrenches on heavy equipment for many years, one thing you can be guaranteed is that equipment will fail. Dual cylinders is a much better concept. There is going to be a tremendous amount of forces being applied to the entire system as you cut through the ground. Especially those shock moments as you move from soft to hard soil.

Nothing better than a little dirt in my coffee this morning... After seeing the trouble you were having on a few things I thought I'd share mine l had. 2 weeks ago while out riding my Harley Davidson Ultra, l lost my key fob, after trying my pin number to override the security system l still couldn't restart my Harley after l made a stop. Well... now I'm stranded 80 miles from home, but thanks to a friend that helped me out by showing up with a trailer, we were able to drop my motorcycle at my local Harley Davidson dealer that evening. Now, just under 2 weeks, and $600 bucks later, l now have a new security module, and 2 key fobs for my Harley... So... now l am back to my normal routine of Dirt Perfect in the morning... And out riding my scooter in the afternoon... (l love being a retired "old fart!! ) Once again Awesome video!! Looking forward to the next one!! 😎👍 Shout out to Aaron, ( and the union industrial electricians , ( my trade )), that keep the power running to everything we take for granted in our lives... Thanks... 😎👌

I used to work at a Caterpillar dealership. The rail and roller shop stayed very busy. I see that you are not doing anything to the rails. I assume the rollers are good also. We would break down the rails and replace pins and bushings, or if the pins were not too worn, would turn the bushings. If the rollers were worn, they would build them up with weld and do the same thing for the links as well. I worked in a different area, but things in your shop looked very familiar to me.

Smart on replacing the relay valve as well. Hopefully, there is not to much rust in the tanks since that will ruin valves quickly. Seeing the track press brought back memories of working for a place in Memphis, TN that had to two of them, a station to rebuilt top and bottom rollers and a big welding machine set up to build up idler wheels. Sometimes I would flip my own pin and bushings if the guys were swamped, but I hated to run the track press. Pressing bushings that were wore through was scary as hell since they like to shatter.

I hope he makes it back soon so you have some adult supervision now that he is head pimp in the boiler fitter world. Thanks DP and I'm sure the tile plow is going to work fine. I do wonder after they said the wider shoes give up some traction for floatation, if you won't end up spinning your wheels if it goes too deep. My 2 cents is I would mount the cylinders 1 on each side in hopes to keep it from binding and let the rollers do the front & back work that would keep a lot of the load off the rollers and each cylinder bracket would have less stress on it. Love the videos keep them coming.

I had asked in an earlier video why you did not change the pads. I know now why. They have all of the stuff to do it right. As others have said, interesting video. I guess you have a nearly totally new trailer and all that was shown looks great. Have good days!

Thank you Mike, a 56 minute video sure made my day! It was great to see Todd and his crew doing their magic and adds another piece to the puzzle that we know of as "Dirt Perfect". PS: Did you buy Todd lunch? He did win the bet.

Always love seeing the guys at T&T, they should have a channel. Thanks for the airbrake lesson, my son drives OTR and often has trailer issues, airbags, brakes, lost an airtank once, so nice to see what's actually going on back there.

Two cylinders one on each side of the main tube at the balance point of the digging unit. This will keep the stress off the rollers and keep everything functioning correctly (with the hydraulic cylinder attached as you have it, it will cause binding between the digging part and the rollers causing excessive wear to both units). Just a suggestion, before I retired I was a draftsman.

You might check to see if the quick release valves are all working on each axle. Sometimes they get poured and don't release the air. Like you say, it might be blessing through the valve. I have also had the o ring between the chambers on a maxi can start leaking to do the same thing. But this doesn't sound like the case. Good luck to you and Aaron. Maybe our gov't in your area is wiseing up a little about solar and wind energy. I hope the rest of the country follows suit. I enjoy your videos.
