Speed blading is awesome in fcp, once you get into it it's kinda addictive. Many times I have graphics I've rendered out of in AfterEffects fro ovelays etc, and now I don't bother adding long hold handles when I'm not sure how long I need them to hang around on screen - instead I can just add hold, or slow to hold as long or short as I like - Note it can generate some pretty big render files, especially optical flow, but you can dump them later.

Again a great tutorial. Didn't know about the jump cutter,and i will definitly try that one. What I missed was the opportunity to change the cut. I know that caused me a lot of frustration,and also the ripple function is worth to mention.
