I'm s single Mom 46 with 15 year old and want to move to a beach town to live more simply. My daughter wants me to join her in a global life. She wants to learn about all cultures. Ik m multiracial and my daughter is as well. Which I feel at 15 is feeding her hunger. How should I go about it. I am willing!

Hi Angela and thank for sharing. I think if it's just you two the first thing to determine is your income...how do you derive it, will you be able to keep it living abroad? If not you need to start thinking of jobs you can do while abroad to earn while on your journey. The site I referenced nomad list let's you search and calculate. Perhaps the first thing to try is this summer while out of school go somewhere new on the cheap. Mexico like Puerto Vallarta can be inexpensive. Also consider the north coast of Colombia and Ecuador. If you want to try to hash out a more detailed plan book a consultation at www.entplife.com

Karl I am selling my first property as we speak, just listed today in FL. Once I get the funds from that sell I would love to set up a consultation with you to help me determine the best course to invest the return. My goal is to generate at least $1500-$2000/mo so I can move to a country with lower cost of living. I know you are traveling with your family this summer but I will check your website for consultation openings as soon as it goes to closing. Thank you for all you do. You are truly one of the few honest and helpful content creators in this space.

Thoughts on Petro winning presidency from a foreign investor standpoint? I’ve been on the sidelines waiting to see what will happen
@Karl__Pierre2 жыл бұрын
No idea...but if he carries out his proposed economic plan without opposition it will be bad especially since there is a propensity for violence and protests in Colombia and worse for those who voted him. But we will see.
@elkay182 жыл бұрын
@@Karl__Pierre "his proposed economic plan [will be] worse for those who voted him" Wow. That's very arrogant of you. I guess you as a foreigner know more than the lowly locals. lol
@Karl__Pierre2 жыл бұрын
@@elkay18 no it's not arrogance it's just the cold hard truth. You see when people respond like this to reality it's shows they are somehow living in a parallel universe. This is the universal case for all leftist anti establishment leaders in modern history. Every single one focuses on wealth inequality with the solution being redistribution. Those who vote for him are often the ones who are impoverished and voting in hopes that their individual problems will be solved by deferring to leadership. Voting is the easy work and self centered. The solution in Colombia is expanding the economy, and empowering the people with education, jobs, and skills that are valuable in the modern economy. In order to do that the government has to spend and provide incentives to both wealthy and poor people so they are aligned in the rising of all. The problems in Colombia are quite clear. If you want to discuss your point of view live you're welcomed. So before trying to insult people in comments sections because their statements are not aligned with your beliefs remember reality dwarfs beliefs
@elkay182 жыл бұрын
@@Karl__Pierre It was an observation and you confirmed it. Why be a guest in others country if you can't respect people's voting decisions? I'll decline your offer to "discuss my point of view" as I have nothing to gain nor learn from doing so. When people suggest that expats "leave America in America" it's because the same "line in the sand" MSM driven politics that has divided our country doesn't apply everywhere else.
@Karl__Pierre2 жыл бұрын
@@elkay18 where is the lack of respect? Stop being butt hurt because I'm concerned about the president choice based on what I've read. Every day of your life people will have a different opinion and if you choose not to engage in a debate you're even closing your mind to learning. It's like a commitment to ignorance. I would love to learn something about your point of view and more about his policies from a local perspective. What policies will improve the economic condition of the people who supported his platform? What do you feel can be improved?

Yes I wanted something that hinted to being a Renaissance man and the golden spiral was often used to manage proportion in Renaissance art.

@@Karl__Pierre Thanks for the reply and videos (btw-I've been following you for some time. I lived in Kyiv for 10 years and have been to Medellin 4 times-among many other places. My wife is from Belarus and we have 3 kids below age 7. We thought about moving to Minsk a few years ago but politics etc got in the way. Some of my friends in Medellin are trying to convince me to move there and I'm thinking about it. But I have a good business as a tax attorney in LA.). I have property in CA and LA (Louisiana, not to be too confusing). The LA property is not bad with around a 6% cap rate, brand new, good neighborhoods SFHs. I have a fair amount of cash and I'm waiting. I am indeed thinking about the $5,000/month lifestyle, with kids at Theodoro Hertzl in Medellin. But of course, change is hard and giving up a good business is harder... Anyhow at some point, it would probably make sense for us to chat. Thanks again for what you do.
@Karl__Pierre2 жыл бұрын
@@randyrandall2148 yes it's pretty difficult to make that change. Is there anyway to keep your business alive while moving by hiring someone to physically fill in while you support from Medellin. I Imagine that's possible and may even allow you to expand your business. I'd love to here more and potentially plan with you to make that possible. What is driving the desire to move?

@@Karl__Pierre Hamster wheel, wanderlust and multiculturalism. After living a third of my life outside the US, I don't feel so home in America. Like most, my wife and I love to travel. And we have a multi-cultural family. So culture is important to us. Also for me, no matter how much I tell myself that I'm going to go to the gym more, travel, take time off, etc, I can't truly seem to do it while I'm in the US and working. My work involves death and taxes which gives me perspective. I'm 51 and there are only so many good years left. If you add up all the weekends and vacation days, maybe I have 2 years of life left, if I don't change things up. I would like to buy time, so to speak. Having said that, America has its pluses too and I have really tried to replace myself at work and thus far, I've been unsuccessful with that. After C19 though, maybe I could move part of my business online. Most of my clients are above 75 years old though, so that has it's limits.

Are you living on 2000 a month?
@Karl__Pierre Жыл бұрын
No but as a single person I totally can. For example at this moment I'm in Colombia I maintain a home here and if I only had this home and only lived in this city $2000 would cut it. Most people only live in one city/one home. I choose to have multiple homes in multiple countries.
