Thanks. That looks like a wonderful adventure. Trying to figure out if a year of cruising for 2 is possible for closer to $100k. Dont need the drinks ( unless they truly are free! ) but do want a safe and comfortable journey

I think a year on the NCL Dawn would be my choice!

That is for 2? As a solo cruiser i like ncl beause on booking closer to sale date they are more likely to offer low or no single supplement. And im sure on an older ship if you're booking a whole year you can negotiate lower cost on inside cabins with more perks. Plus double loyalty points.

Please always specifically mention if your calculations are for a couple or single. The Fay Sir Name is a VERY old Irish origin clan name. It is fairly rare and often forgotten Irish clan name. Earlier this year we had intended to emigrate it Ireland and I had secured my Irish Passport. We even took a trip to Ireland. We took in Malahide, Swords, Kilkenny, and Doolin. However my wife put a hard stop on emigration so that ended that. Reference previous post: we had intended to sail S/V Enough to Malahide as our base . Hoorn Netherlands for summer. Then Malahide for the fall moving on to the med for winter. Reversing back to Malahide for spring and repeat. Your content is giving hope we may be able to recover at least part of what we hoped to do 😊🔥
