This was so great! It's good to hear the other side, too, especially now when so many people are saying "deuces." Sharita is still so young. She has experience in living abroad so she can always return to that life when she's ready.

I love all of Sharita's laughs and giggles. It shows that she knows how to go with the flow and keep a postive attitude. This was a great conversation. Thank you both!

I like how she said she figured out what she liked and replicated that. That can help with feeling happy about where you live no matter the country

I did digital nomad travel for 6 years straight mainly in Asia, Australia and Mexico. It was tough cause I ran out of money a few times and worked on US time zones but with a 12 hr difference. It was brutal.

This video was a great reminder that you can be flexible and it’s ok to go back to any where you want to, it’s just a plan and ok if it has to be changed 😊

Great interview! I've lived abroad for 10 years and began my journey as a graduate student in Israel , and hot my certification to teach English bouncing around different places (Bangkok, Tsingto, Almaty, etc) before I found my forever in Belgrade, Serbia.

What I've discovered is that not everyone is fortunate enough to find "their place" so congratulations in finding yours.

@AdaliaAborisade Thanks, though it took me 10 years to find. I believe we are all searching for a place to call home, which is NOT easy as a foreigner. I did have setbacks, but never gave up. But I am lucky I guess.

Girl! That $4K ambulance ride WITH INSURANCE made me choke! And my bestie asked me how long will I stay in the US when I plan to visit. Not one second longer than I have to!

Watching the replay! Great interview Adalia. I'm so happy that Sharita followed her own heart in deciding how and when she would move around on the globe. A digital nomad life (or bopping around, as Stephanie calls it, lol) is on my agenda once my teenager finishes high school. Same agenda, move around on a tourist visa to see where I want to call home long term. Staying in the US is not my retirement plan, for many reasons, but I can come back and visit my child and my Momma, Lol.

Hi ladies. Watching this on replay. This was an awesome interview. Sharita shared so many nuggets that will definitely help others. Love the reminder that “comparison is the thief of joy!” Adalia, you definitely are awesome in reminding ladies to extend themselves some grace.

Sharita, have you ever visited Johannesburg? African American women are definitely on top there and the majority of them are not about games, they are about solid relationships and growing a future together.
@EmpressWanderlust21 күн бұрын
Respectfully, are these women in solid relationships with men who are their economic equal?
@myzzkim8820 күн бұрын
@@EmpressWanderlustvalid question but economic mismatching is happening in the states but some of us may be happier in Joburg like the person above said. I’ve lived between the states and SA
