Mike, I have mold illness and my chemical sensitivities have gotten way worse. Can’t remediate because of mcs. Can’t do much in terms of diet because of B6 toxicity. Can hardly eat any foods because of B6 toxicity. This along with neuropathy has caused muscle wasting. Haven’t started program yet. Now worse since dry cleaning fumes got in car (which already had mold toxins in there) and in basement and HVAC. I’m in the process of getting LDN (google this) for mcs and inflammation. Must have doctor contact a compounding pharmacy. It’s not expensive. Boost immune system by increasing endorphins. Good for Alzheimer’s. Will this program work if in a mold environment (not real high) and chemical environment that neither bothers my sister and have poor nutrition because of B6 toxicity? I’ve heard it won’t work.

I would definitely give it a try Bill! The severe MCS symptoms (among other symptoms) I was experiencing have gone down by about 80% at this point and I'm still deep in my journey. LDN was very helpful for me, hope it will be for you too - it helped bring things down to a more manageable level where I could focus more on the DNRS stuff which then has been the big winner! I've met so many amazing completely recovered retrainers now through the community forum and associated participant groups. It's totally possible. Perhaps calling the office and asking them might offer some insight and hope. All the very best to you.

Lina Lemon Can I ask which one you prefer between the Gupta and DNRS? And which is easier for someone who has almost no physical energy and very little brain energy? I would very much appreciate any advice you have for which program is easier
@ratmalschonweiter17346 жыл бұрын
Sage L In that case I would prefer Gupta, because it is specifically made for ME or high fatique levels (while DNRS is originally made for MCS), you can spread watching it over a couple of weeks (the DNRS should be watched in 3-4 days, which is exhausting) and it teaches you much more techniques, lots of low energy techniques as well like different forms of meditations to directely ease the symptoms. I did Gupta for two years until I decided to change things up a little and that I would need a more challenging approach for getting back into life. So that's what I found in the DNRS. Hope that helps :) good luck with retraining!

I have Ehlers-Danlos, and after contracting EBV I was knocked over by the wave of symptoms that hit me. It was like the sleeping giant was woken up, and just starting wreaking havoc on my whole body. I had to leave engineering school, which I’m working to get back into right now. I was 20/21 the last time I remember feeling okay, and I’m 28 now. I was VERY active before this hit. I’m now doing better with my medical care plan, and my cardiologist recommended DNRS to me. I’m thankful you have some explanation of what it even is because the description of it makes it sound like such an enigma. I use wheelchairs at the airport and I do have a temporary (one year) handicap parking permit for when I have unexpected flares, but I’ve found I need those things less now. I’m hoping DNRS can help me getting more into what I could do before I was very ill, like more intense exercise and intense school. Eating has been MUCH easier lately, especially this past year. I do still get some nausea and GI flares, but I’m hopeful for the future and excited that there are more options out there to add to my care plan to keep this momentum going.

@Austin Fudge: It's not the most expensive solution, not by a far cry. And it is like retraining the habits your parents / teachers in your early years taught you. Raising a child means you mold not only his conscious thinking, but also his physical , subconscious , reactions. Because thinking, attitude and even physical habits all have an effect on which hormones and neurotransmitters are used in your body: the uplifting ones or the stress related ones that should circulate only for a short period in your body to get you out of trouble. But... in many people they are present too long, causing inflammations. A strong or constant feeling of being unsafe can also upregulate [epigenetics] the number of "pain"sensors (nociceptors, like TRPV or TRPA1) in your body making you hundreds to almost thousand times more sensitive for certain signals. So, what DNRS basically does is: you replace these old values / habits with new healthier ones, that tilt the balance in favor of healthier hormones (endorphines) and neurotransmitters. You can do it on your own, but then you have to figure out what works and how long you need to train yourself. After all, you are overwriting some strong reflexes which isn't easy And don't mistake the slowness of the 'established medical society' to admit it overlooked options like these, for scam treatments. Because in the world of medicine there is a lot of wrongful self glorification and it is hard for the 'established ones' to get off their high horse. Neuroplasticity and the strong body-mind connection is simply a new scientific field that is proving itself: check f.i. Porges polyvagal theory or read books of Norman Doidge. Alas some new theories are held back by internal politics among scientists: Van der Kolk [a scientist himself] has produced great new scientific insights in trauma , but it doesn't reach the people who need proper treatment for flat refusal of some 'board members' to adapt the DSM 4, 5, keeps it out of the practitioners office. Unless this practitioner him/her self dares to venture outside the 'beaten path' ... read about Van der Kolk's fight: coprofdevcenter.org/the-politics-of-developmental-trauma/

I have experienced breakthrough like you describe from meditating on these promises, visualizing myself healed and Happy, etc. My father in law has been suffering from chronic pain/Lyme the past 6 years and bought the program. At the same time my husband and I shared with him the sermons/teachings of Andrew Womack here on KZbin. He did he first bit of the program which helped him and really felt like Andy’s teachings were satisfactory for him. Mandy, I have mold illness and my chemical sensitivities have gotten way worse.

Thank you so much for sharing this Mandy! I wondered if this helps with bloating, digestive issues, Lyme disease, and multiple food sensitivities? You mentioned you can eat egg again. I would LOVE to eat eggs again! How long did u wait until u could eat eggs again? how did u know it was ok to try? Since Lyme, I suddenly got anaphalaxis whenever I eat eggs so don't eat it. It's so hard to eat out since lyme I need to be gluten-free, sugar-free, grain-free, beef/pork free, citrus free, dairy-free, etc. I bloat so much it's depressing/embarrasing even though I eat so clean. I want to eat cookies again and pizza and dance and be happy like your 1st video. Appreciate any response esp about the food allergies and thanks for sharing and helping others know what works for you! (yoga, qigong, eating clean, and meditating help me :). Blessings to you!

I'm trying DNRS again. The first time around it was making my anxiety push back really hard and then I quit but am going to give it another shot. I personally think the DNRS recommendation of beginning with one hour a day is irresponsible on their part. For me, one hour was too much too soon for my brain, and it's prob the same for many others. I have to cut it down to 10 mins twice a day until the anxiety weakens and I can handle longer sessions.

Mandy is there any program that is more affordable....
@75pdubs Жыл бұрын
The online version is $350. Between 6 months and 1 year you can get an 80% refund if it doesn’t work for you. You’re supposed to do the program for at least 6 months to see meaningful results. Joe Dispenza’s stuff is more affordable as long as you don’t get suckered into buying many meditations or going to the workshops. You can get either You Are The Placebo or Breaking The Habit, purchase the meditation that accompanies it (or upload them from a friend), and practice those. So if you get the book from the library and upload a few meditations from a friend they are free. The visualization and creating positive emotions are probably what makes the dnrs program effective anyway. So dispenza cuts out all the fluff.

This vlog was so helpful. I looked at some of Dr. Joe's books. They don't sound too "Christian" from the descriptions. I read non Christian books but I don't want to read anything that would lead me on a path that is more New Age (or anything else). I'm great with "science" is long as it isn't contrary to Scripture. I'm going to assume...but that is dangerous...that if you recommended him that he is not advising anything non Scriptural. Is that the case? Second...Do you have any advice on a book(s) about the gut being the second brain? Continuing in prayer for you...You are such a gift!
@MandyMeehan6 жыл бұрын
It was a while ago that I listened to some of his books on audio. From what I remember, it was very science based. I don't recall anything new-agey from it... This is probably going to sound super-random, but watching you talk, it looks like you might have a tongue tie. I only discovered DNRS today and have been trying to learn more about it (which is how I came across your video), but one of the things I've been wondering about is whether tongue ties might contribute to limbic maladaption due to the absence of normal pressure on the roof of the mouth (which interacts with certain nerves and parts of the brain -- including the sense of smell).
