Thank you for doing this demo in real time. It is unnerving to watch vids where everything seems to happen in a flash. I find it helpful to see how even "simple" things such as putting extruded clay together is instructive.
@Mimismarketva6 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean. That is the main reason I started doing video tutorials. Most of the ones I saw on KZbin were fast-forwarded. Sometimes I would want to see the brand name on a bottle or something but it is gone before I can read it. I'm glad you like the real-time.
@DebbieDeeable5 жыл бұрын
@@Mimismarketva I must disagree! I seldom watch your tutorials because they are entirely TOO LONG! I don't have 45 minutes to watch a tutorial! They include things I don't need to know! EXAMPLE: Why do I need to see how many sets you have & what each of them do? VERY BORING & ANNOYING! If I can see someone else doing same type tutorial I'll watch them instead!

Can I ask, when I got my makins it came with a little rubber ring. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with this ring, and I cannot see it anywhere in your extruder. Do you know what this ring is for and where it should go? Would be so grateful for your advice. Wonderful tutorial by the way.
@Mimismarketva8 жыл бұрын
Yes - that is an extra ring in case the ring inside breaks. The part that pushes the clay thru has a rubber o-ring that fits around it. You don't need to do anything with it right now. Just keep it in a safe place in case you need it later. Have fun with your extruder!

Where did you find the plastic sheets? I've been using paper protector pockets but they are very hard to work on, though I love storing my conditioned clay on the sheets. I bought them at a clay retreat years ago. They are made by Papercon. Maybe you could Google it and find them. Sorry I can't be of more help. I'll try to find a source and let you know . I used to store my sheets in page protectors, too.
@Mimismarketva8 жыл бұрын
I tried finding the sheets that I have and can't find them anywhere. However, Georgia-Pacific makes what appears to be the same thing but I can only find them in cases of 10 boxes on Amazon. That is probably how the person I bought these from got it. I seem to remember that they were only available in cases.
