I also think (even though the vintage guide show the sword as one solid color) that he missed some blood dripping from the Captians Sword. Thoughts on this ? I think there's two visible blood drippings on the front of the sword & one on the back. Maybe GW didn't want to paint it to violent but they molded dripping blood in case someone wanted some blood dripping? Any thoughts?

Army Painter Goblin Green does have pretty good coverage but like with most AP paints you need to shake it to hell and back, and once you think you've shaken it all that is possible - shake it some more. I'd say the Army Painter metalic set would best replicate the old metalics if you just don't happen to have 30 year old paints sitting around. Its got a emerald green similar to this, and the gold looks very close to its corrupted gold which has that bit of green tinge to it like the pot here has

@cartouchator2 жыл бұрын
I bought a pot of agrellan earth recently from a friendly local gaming store and the paint was so dry and thick I thought it was like their dry paints range at first,nearly impossible to spread on the base. I then bought another pot and the second one was more of a thick base paint consistency. They really are no good at staying sealed are they.. I did manage to fix the first pot with some water though, a bit of water in there and stir the crap out of it with a wooden skewer . I overdid it with the water and made it thinner than intended but you know what? It actually works even better when thinned down like that, I got bigger cracks that way and it was easier to paint on in a thick layer.

But I remember being sat at my little painting table by my bedroom window in my childhood home and being awfully proud of my colour matching skills mixing the Goblin Green with Chaos Black and a little touch of Enchanted Blue and getting a fairly good (to my young and inexperienced eyes) "Dark Angel Green" when comparing it to the painting guide and colour images.
