What I heard about Mohammed is that the touring really got to him. Pretty sure he works in a BMW factory in Bavaria.

I would be completely fine if he just released another album and didn't tour

Would have loved to see this band evolve. Loved both of their albums.

I saw these guys in 2007, in a very small club, It was with Origin and Misery Index... And before this show, we missed them on the tour with Bolt Thrower/Malevolent Creation/Nightrage in 2006... Necropaghist played first but we arrived late because we were lost on the road -_- (ps1: Bolt Thrower was insane, ps2 where is the last Malevolent Creation album review ;p?). Anyway, Epitath was a killer album, I use to jam a lot to Stabwound and Seven.

Really like "Onset...". Machine like and mechanical are good descriptions.

Man that sounds like show lineups from the early 2000s, I saw amazing shows that I didn't even know most of the bands were playing and saw by accident. Think nile/origin/hate eternal/arch enemy( not a fan but they were co headlining) when I really only came to watch Derek Roddy play.....and this was when informis infinitas inhumanitas first came out.....longstreth stole that show

Epitaph is obe of the most brutal front to back albums ive ever heard. Stab wound and diminished to b are absolute classics.

It’s pronounced “su-ich-mes”, It’s Turkish, so the actual surname is “Suiçmez”.

Great albums. Foul Body Autopsy is like the biggest punch in the face to start an album

I just listened to the first album today and this is sad news. I'm obviously very late to the party. I was so impressed I thought this was a newer band...

You’re sounding very Chevy dune bear (are your drums acoustically recorded with no triggering/samples?) by saying “programmed, non human/no human element, processed” Tech death/metal in general has got only better with time. Everything is clean, drums are intelligible and listenable. Guitar and bass sounds great through a good non tubes head. 90s metal production sounds like chaos that’s hard to listen too. As a drummer/musician. That shit hurts my brain. Also necrophagist has never used a gravity blast, not trying to say got ya but.. Necrophagist is forever the tech death kings, never to be replicated. 5 stars all the way around.

Epitaph rocks, never got into Putrefaction. Glad I got to see this band live before he retired.

I bought Epitaph after reading rave reviews and honestly think it's the most overrated death metal album of the last 20 odd years. Way too polished and nice sounding.

God forbid a death metal band actually has some decent production lol. To each his own man but to me this album is a masterpiece. It's super technical without being overly flashy or nonsensical like a lot of modern tech death. And yeah it's polished but if you think about it this kind of music would sound like muddy butt juice with a raw production.

@@MrAaronbathoryell then you can make the album yourself. Just put it into an editing program and switch some EQ knobs and make it sound shit

Necrotic Nick- I didn't pick up. To me it just screamed cash grab but I might check it out later. Those first two Static-X albums were killer in particular.
