Before the Peacock switchover, I was re-watching the WWF of my childhood (the 80s) and I’d have to say that screwy finishes were much, much rarer in that period. Pins were definitely the far majority ending and not many of those were rollups (which they would’ve called small packages).

One thing I don't get about most of the retro ups and downs is..Simon reviews them like today's matches..back then 😂 most of the matches were not meant to be classic wrasllin matches.. specifically during attitude Era, whole show used to be filled with some filler matches mostly keeping the focus on entertainment factor..so I hope he reviews them with a little bit of ease 🤷🏻‍♂️ apart from this fact 😂😂😂 I agree some segments were simply 🤦🏻‍♂️ so I won't blame him for being that harsh at times lol
